I don't want to care but my Canes should be a much improved team. The short season means every game matters that much more. I'm back on board!

I'll be watching too. I'm glad they are playing this year; I had been skeptical that a deal would get done. i think the 48 game schedule will give every game a playoff intensity.

Alexander Semin and Jordan Staal should be great additions. Tuomo Ruutu being out of the lineup really hurts.

Canes came home from the best road trip in team history to a lackluster effort in a shutout loss to the Canadians. I'm going to the game tomorrow night against the Atlanta Thrashers Winnipeg Jets. My first game in over two years!

Great seats. Perfect angle to watch Cam Ward give up two soft goals. Canes outplayed the Jets but came up on the short end 4-3. Still.. good fun. View from my seat...

Alex Semin made one of the best passes you'll ever see to set up a goal. Its very early in the clip if anyone cares to watch.

Damn, you had great seats. I won't go to any more Blackhawk games....even the crappy seats are too expensive.

After beating the Red Wings today in the shootout, Blackhawks remain undefeated at 17-0-3. COMMIT TO THE INDIAN BABY!!

They've got the Kiss Of Playoff Death Trophy (aka, the resident's Cup) in the bag, that's for sure.
The Bruins have embarked on their heavy stretch run, and have a ridiculously good penalty killing squad this year. The problem has been that no lead seems safe even with that edge, and issues with the power play (though that is showing signs of life).

I wish the Bruins had gotten Jerome Iginla, though. Instead he went to the Penguins.
Read in Sports Illustrated the Sabers might be shopping goalie Ryan Miller. If this is true, would like Detroit to try and trade for him. I'm not sold on Jimmy Howard, personally I think he lets in a lot of bad goals, and Howard hasn't done anything in the playoffs.

It seems like it. I don't hold out any real great hope of the Red Wings to do well, if they should even get into, the playoffs. I don't like the defense, but I knew it would go down when Nik Lidstrom retired. I'm also not sold on Jimmy Howard as a big time goalie.
