So, the next month or so is like my 2nd Christmas every year.
I run March Madness groups on CBS and Fox Sports for my various online hangouts every year. (This will be my 10th year on at least one of the sites!)
Just curious if there'd be enough interest here to run one?

We've done this in past years. Mod City usually sets it up. There's about 5 or 6 of us who participate. It's one of the only brackets I do anymore.
If you and/or Mod City wants to set it up this year, I'll play.

I'm the safety valve - if no one sets it up by the time a few days before the brackets come out rolls around I usually get it up and running. I can't remember who the regular organizer was before that. I actually thought it was Mr. A but I may be wrong about that If you want to organize it this year, oldmanmerton, please do, as I'm a little busier this year than I normally am. Sky usually volunteers a couple of episodes for the winner as a prize, because he's damn cool that way. May want to check with him on that. Also, we've usually used Yahoo for our brackets and I know several people here who participate have accounts ready to go for that, but if you prefer another service feel free to use what you're familiar with. Otherwise, I'm in. And as a huge Indiana fan, I'm going to be agonizing with every game this year. Makes me feel alive

Are we going to do this? If so, I'm in.

I was going to ask the same thing - if oldmanmerton isn't going to get it started I can try to have something up by tonight. I just don't have time to do it right now. Maybe we could cross-post this in the General Chat area? Might get more participants that way.
Otherwise it could be just you an me this year, Mr. A. Even with only two participants the chance of me winning is still zero.

OK, here's what I have set up. We're at Yahoo! again. tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/137322Group ID# 137322 Password: hikeeba! It should be good to go but let me know if anyone has any trouble with anything. Also, if someone could possibly promote this in another thread or two so we get at least five participants like last year, that would be great. Game on! EDIT: Link should work now.

I tried to sign up and it said I was already a member of the group, but I couldn't get anywhere to make picks. EDIT: I figured it out, I think.

Yeah, I renewed last year's group instead of creating a new one, so some may have the issue crowfan had. If you get the message he did, just click on the "go to homepage" link or use this one: tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/137322Hopefully this clears things up (probably not)

I got it figured out. I was making it harder than it was.

After my bracket bombed huge last year, I wasn't sure I wanted to do another one. But I'm just too much of a bracket man! I'm in!

Sorry about disappearing. I have about 5 groups to manage...only just now made the MST one to find it'd already been done. No prob. I'll just join this one. Will need to get used to Yahoo's system, but should be fun.

Sorry, didn't mean to jump the gun on you but there's so little time to make picks the way it is thought we'd better get it going. Glad you're on board!
EDIT: Sky has generously agreed to provide a couple of MST episodes to the pool winner. Thanks again for keeping it fun, Sky!

OK, we're up to six, which is one better than last year, I believe! Not bad. And did anyone catch Kentucky losing to Robert Morris in the first round of the NIT last night? I didn't realize it at first but they had to play the game at Robert Morris because Rupp Arena in Lexington is already booked for the NCAA tournament. Yep, the same tournament that the Wildcats were not invited to. Usually, the higher-seeded team gets home floor. I find all this very amusing

Yeah I saw that and both play-in games last night (I refuse to call them First Four...:barf:)
The NCA&T game was pretty dang good. Perhaps all 4 of my home state teams will bring that kind of chutzpah.
Welp...my MST3k bracket isn't my most serious entry (i'm now in 8 groups across 3 sites..heh), but it's a nice blend of alma mater love, an unconventional pick, and my 2 "true" faves for this year's F4.
