I got an email from Amazon this morning that reads in part:
Hello,
We have received new release date information related to the order you placed on (edited for privacy). The item(s) listed below will actually ship sooner than we originally expected based on the new release date: "Mystery Science Theater 3000: 25th Anniversary Edition [Limited-Edition Collector's Tin]" Previous estimated arrival date: November 26, 2013 New estimated arrival date: November 19, 2013
Anyone else get this?

Per Shout Factory's website, if you pre-order from them, they will ship your copy on 11/12.
Question to you guys.. when ordering from Shout! have you had packages arrive damaged or not sufficiently secured? An example of this would be my MST3K the Movie being shipped in a non-bubble wrap mailer with absolutely NO protection and the slip case was smushed. Another example would be ordering some Shout! Select titles and they were stuffed so tightly in the box that the giant bubble pack smushed in the amaray case on one of the dvd's.
I realize this stuff is maybe not the worst thing in the world but when you pay for an item you expect for it to show up to your front door pretty much flawless.
Maybe it's just me being picky? Needless to say I will probably do my ordering through Amazon, as much as I love Shout!. Their fulfillment people, frankly, suck.

Just visited the Amazon listing. Apparently we have a new special feature:

The mailman just delivered a package from Shout - my 25th Anniversary tin has arrived! Along with 8 stress balls - ha! As you can see, the Gorgo case is packaged with Mitchell & TBTWD.

That's great that you already got your box set, Shark! Did you do standard shipping?

That's great that you already got your box set, Shark! Did you do standard shipping? Yup - standard shipping. It was mailed from Indy, which is only 4 hours from me. Anyone else who pre-ordered from Shout should have gotten their tracking number - mine was in my email yesterday.

Can you look on the bottom of the set and give us a list of who the movies were liscenced from? I just got my copy, too. You have to look at the disc art for that info because there's no regular cardboard box inside the tin as is usually the case: Moon Zero Two, Copyright 1969 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. The Day The Earth Froze, under license from KAVA - National Audiovisual Archive. The Leech Woman, Copyright 1959 Universal Studios, Inc. Gorgo, Copyright 1961 King Brothers, Ltd. Under license from VCI Entertainment, Inc. Mitchell, Copyright 1975 Essex Enterprises Ltd. Under license from Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. The Brain That Wouldn't Die, Copyright 1959 Rex Carlton Productions. Under license from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. Just as I expected, for the most part. Warner Brothers is on board with Moon Zero Two and Mitchell based on the info and Shout decided to legitimately license Brain from MGM, given that the film was distributed by American International Pictures, whose library MGM owns, despite Brain generally considered to be Public Domain. MGM released Brain as a Midnight Movie VHS release some years ago and Shout and Timeless Media released it on DVD recently as an MGM Movie 4 You release this year. The big surprise is Day The Earth Froze. Not sure what KAVA is.

Thanks for the info. No cardboard box? that's weird.
KAVA - National Audiovisual Archive appears to be a Finnish broadcasting archive so they're probably not going to have any other titles.

Yeah, I really hate that there is not a cardboard box for these, it screws up my whole shelf.
