Also Starship Troopers will be shown again in theaters, I believe, September 12.
But Night of the Living Dead is the one I'm looking forward to. Though you'd think Mike would be sick of this one by now. How many separate times has he riffed this movie, anyway?

The Trax for this one was disappointing, but it's an excellent movie and I've always wanted to see it in the theater. Too bad it will most likely be Legendary's colorized version instead of its gloriously moody B&W.

It's the black and white version! RiffTrax is no longer part of legend.

When did they separate from Legend?
I wonder if this means a whole new riff. The email said "Never before seen" riff of Night of the Living Dead.

I hope it's new. I didn't like the version I got, they were just kind of talking over every little thing and not saying anything all that funny. But will I go? Probably.

We're like a beautiful butterfly emerging from its cocoon! And yes, NOTLD will be rewritten for the live show pretty substantially. The MKB/Mike Solo riffs are all fairly old. It should be a great one!

My only question about this is will you guys be pairing with a new company for DVD releases of the live shows? Would Sony be interested in home video distribution of Starship Troopers and so on and so forth?

We'll be self-distributing our DVDs as always, but Sony didn't give us the rights to release Troopers as a DVD or VOD, unfortunately.

Damn that's unfortunate. At least there's hope for Manos and Birdemic.

And yes, NOTLD will be rewritten for the live show pretty substantially. I may have been the only human to experience this, but during the recent Starship Troopers live show I couldn't hear half of the riffs because the volume of the program was so high. (Then again, SST is a very loud movie.) Any chance that the volume of the riffs can be upped a little? Then again, I didn't realize that the gorillagrams were inserted to cover nudity in the film so perhaps my input should be discounted.

Our production company has remixed the audio for the encore. We've heard it, and it sounds fantastic.

Got our tickets for this today. I know I can buy them at the door but there's something warm and fuzzy about having them in hand a month plus early.

It's the black and white version! RiffTrax is no longer part of legend. We were just talking about this after the Troopers encore. If I paid better attention I wouldn't have incorrectly told my show mates it would be the color version.

I'm stoked. They finally added a show that's about 45 minutes from here. So I'm trying to round up a posse to go with me.
