My final word: feels like a Broncos win. The weather should be a factor so I don’t think it’s decided until the end. The Patriots might win a squeaker but with a defense in near shambles, I think Manning pulls it out. As much of a homer as I am who rarely picks against his team, I am forced to conclude this one will get away. What say you, Atari?

I feel somewhat optimistic about it. For some reason, the Pats don't seem as intimidating this year. I'm very interested in seeing how the Broncos secondary deals with Brady. They are better than they get credit for, and the Broncos will win if they can keep it from becoming a shootout. But if they keep a linebacker on Gronk, it might be a nailbiter.

Well that was a hell of a thing.
What a sloppy, sloppy game. When I posted about the Broncos secondary, I had no idea they'd all get knocked out and give Brady the practice team to throw against. Still, much respect and congrats to you, Dave, and your Pats. That third quarter was a major league beat down.

Much like the first quarter was for the Broncos. Guess I got the squeaker part right, but yeah, sloppy. The untouched fumbles by both Brady and Manning that each recovered were among the most bizarre to me. Still, props to the Broncos for a hell of game that probably should have ended in a tie. I suspect we’ll be seeing each other again. At the least, we play again next year.

SEAHAWKS! Woo Hoo!
Monday night, at home against a Saint team that was breathing down out necks... man was that sweet, sweet, sweet.

Eagles are in first place. Three game losing streak on the way!

Sky, I think the Eagles are a lock in the NFC East. Nobody else seems capable of getting out of their own way. And personally, I think that the whole RGIII mess is dreamed up by Daniel Snyder so that people would stop talking about changing the name from "Redskins".

The Cowgirls are certainly making it easy. Tony Romo is my favorite player!

If I were a Packer fan, I'd be thrilled that Cutler is starting for the Bears.

I'm just glad this season is over. It looks like Shanny is going to get the ax in D.C. Now if only Daniel Snyder would fire himself, the team might have a chance. If this crap with the Skins keeps going much longer, I may have to no longer pledge my loyalty to the Skins and declare myself a free agent.

Dan Snyder has to be one of the worst owners in all sports. Washington will never win with him as owner. While Shanahan isn't blameless, he can't fight city hall, as it were. No coach will be successful there. The way the whole RGIII situation was handles is a prime example, and even with a new coach, it's still going to be a soap opera. Find it amusing that Jerry Jones, another bad owner, is in the same division.....

That final drive for the Packers was thrilling, 3 successful 4th down conversions, wow.
Seahawks won the top seed which was great, but I have not been impressed with them the last few weeks. Wilson does not look sharp. He's under throwing, over throwing and the offensive in general looks vanilla. What happened to the option play that was so successful last season? Where are our TEs, what happened to screen pass (and what's with that stupid pass towards the sidelines that only manages 1 yard a pop. Throw that play in the garbage)
I hope they have been keeping these and other plays in their back pocket, to unleash hell in the post season.

I think Snyder treats some of his players the way he does his actors (Tom Cruise) in the movies he produces: he spoils them. The problem is you can't do it that way in football, it's not Hollywood, it's a team sport. I will still remain a loyal lifelong Redsk...um, future Washington Senators football team fan no matter what. Just make sure to keep the burgundy & gold colors. But pleeease Mr. Snyder, sell the team to someone who loves them.
