Congrats to DW and his Patriots. Here's hoping we can hold serve and host an awesome championship game next week.

Congrats, Atari. And it's on, again. I will contemplate my picks this week, but early thoughts suggest Manning bites the dust, again.

Both teams are running the ball like gangbusters lately. I have a feeling it will come down to who can control the clock and keep the other guy off the field. I think Manning is better at putting up the stats and executing the game plan, but he's also more apt to make a bad mistake. Brady's less impressive, but feels safer. It reminds me of Elway vs. Montana.

Elway-Montana seems a very apt analogy. I’m also expecting ball control at least at the start. Play action and screens will likely factor heavily, at least for the Pats. In the end, I’ll stick with the Pats in a close one – likely whichever team has the ball last wins. As for the NFC, I’ll take the Seahawks.

Wow. Even I was surprised to see the Broncos defense show up like that. Terrance Knighton came out of nowhere and dominated the line. I know Manning pitched a perfect game, but Knighton & Rogers-Cromartie were the MVPs of that game. But since it's been 15 years since my team was in the big game, I'll just put this right here.

Congrats, Atari. The Broncos played a near perfect game that the final score doesn't really reflect. It would have been nice if Talib had played the whole game, but those are the breaks. It might not have helped anyway as Manning was never under pressure. So, I’ll wait until next year and number sixteen.

Okay, where's MJ? I think we need to come up with a friendly wager. Something like if the Seahawks win I have to listen to nothing but folk music for a week. If the Broncos win, he has to listen to nothing but Huey Lewis and Hall & Oates.
Or maybe a wager that's MST-related.
So what do you think, MJ? I'm calling you out!

I haven't won a bet in my life so I'm not jinxing my team by going anywhere near a wager. No siree bob I just hope we have a great game and that the refs keep the flags in their pockets and let the players decide this one (yeah, that 'other' Super Bowl still stings). While I like underdogs just fine, I'm glad that we have the top seeds in this game (and former AFC divisional rivals to boot). The #1 defense vs the #1 offense, very cool. I'm concerned about Wilson, he's been real hit or miss and had the jitters bad last night, some of his ball handling was abysmal. But hopefully Marshawn will be in Beast Mode and Richard and the Legion of Boom will be in peak form. Back it up Sherman and the rest of you Hawks. The 12th man are counting on ya to give Seattle a taste of SB glory! And It was a hell of night, we screamed and jumped and high fived and then collapsed from exhaustion.

The one team I would cheer for in these playoffs besides the Broncos is the Seahawks. So if we lose, I don't think I'll take it too hard.
I think Manning will take what the defense gives him and move the ball down the field just like he has all season. I think Lynch will break some big runs, but I don't think the Seahawks will keep up. If the Broncos can avoid turnovers, this won't be very close.
31-13 Broncos.
