Today's the day, looking forward to a good show! This time I'm just gonna pick up my ticket at the booth, since the theater I go to for RiffTrax shows doesn't exactly fill up all the time.

Eeeee, it's tonight! Then I just have to pick up my CT version and I'm set!
Say, will this one be offered on DVD or is this the only chance to see it like Starship Troopers?

Been to all of the Rifftrax Live shows. It's great to see in a theater with other fans, that's for sure. Ditto. Heading to the theater now.

I don't think they're licensing it from a major studio so they most likely will be able to VOD and DVD/blu-ray it later. I'm sitting in the theater as we speak! I'm three for three this year and it feels good!

Is anybody else not getting the silly trivia slides like they usually do? My theater isn't showing them and I could have sworn the emails they've been sending said they'd have them.

Just got back from the theater. Absolutely loved it. The short had me on the floor laughing. I think I have a new favorite character, Candy Lion. The movie was great too. Such a fun time. This my my first rifftrax live, but it definitely won't be my last.
BTW they ran the trivia slides in the theater I saw it at. It's a shame your theater didn't show them. A lot of them were great.

Our theater also had the trivia slides. Sorry you missed them, Torgo, but there are a couple on the "goodies" page. They didn't seem to have as many slides this time.
Theater was about half full...everybody was into it and we were all laughing. The short was something else, and between Candy Lion, Jack-In-The-Box, and Snoopy, it was a weird trip. Movie was good, the riffing was dead on. Glad I saw it.

Very funny show! They breathed new life into the movie. My theater had maybe 60-80 in the audience. Not like Manos but should be enough to keep the theater simulcasting them. We got the trivia, Torgo. It was funny but the music disappointed me a bit. I prefer M,K,B on vocals.

Must have been a glitch at my theater then. They ran the last two then nada.
Man that short...I agree with the guys, Mr. B move over.
As for the feature, I'd put it about even with the Cinematic Titanic version. A good deal of howlers and a good deal of duds (Kevin fumbled a noticable amount of lines, and Bill had a few too). Won't replace the MST version for me, but it was a good experience.

Very good show! I haven't seen CT's treatment yet and I'm not sure how I'd compare it to the MST3K episode, but the RiffTrax guys did a pretty great job on riffing this one again, and the weird short was real funny too. I just wish my theater had more than a handful of people there to laugh with.

Just got in. So glad they started showing in a theater that's about 45 minutes from here instead of 2 1/2 hours away. Me and my former MST buddy went to see it. I was surprised at how many riffing fans we had in this area. The theater was full except for the small section in the front that you need neck surgery after sitting in.
We had the slides, but the music was a let down, except for the "Grandma cooked the Dog". I don't think I've ever had a more WTF look on my face. The short absolutely hilarious. It did start to peter out toward the end, but all in all was funny as hell.
The movie was a bit uneven, at the beginning it seemed like they were just struggling not to use jokes from the MST version or the CT version. But when the movie got started, so did the riffing. The audience was eating it up. I was surprised at how little reaction the callback to the Rudolph short got from the last Christmas live Show.
This was my first Rifftrax Live that I got to see in the theater and it was great. With the good crowds like tonight, I'm sure they'll keep showing them here. Can't wait for the next one.

Man that short...I agree with the guys, Mr. B move over. My very first thought I had after the short started "I'm sure there's a Mr. B Natural riff coming." Although I thought it would have been a more obvious callback.

Just got back! Hee hee hee. Loved the short and I have no doubt Candy Lion will be making comments in future shorts.
They used a more complete version of the movie and that added to the new joke telling--very much appreciated. Bill did flub a couple lines but the guys covered for him smoothly enough. I also appreciated his crush on Lady Momar--"Now kiss Bill Corbett!" Plus, the wild toy throwing orgy of violence at the end was great with the new riffs: "Too late, we've tasted blood!"
Will be adding this to the rapidly growing pile of Rifftrax DVDs as soon as it comes out!
Tor, go! Tor, GO! TORGO!

Didn't get to much of a reaction in the theater from it. About half of the people there got it.

3/4 full theater in Plymouth Meeting, PA just outside Philly. Good show! Really enjoyed the short, and there were several new riffs that I enjoyed in the main feature. Seeing Tom and Crow in the audience at the end coupled with the Turkey Day events makes me want a MST3K reunion show baaaaaaad.
My guess is this will be the DVD/blu-ray released around this time next year? Aside from The Star Wars Holiday special, they didn't do any "Christmas with Rifftrax" did they? And I can't see Star Wars getting a commercial DVD release.
