Wreck the state's car. Take no chances with your own. Though you should take it into consideration if the state has no other vehicles. What will they do if you wreck the only one? Thing is, if I wreck it, it will be my coffin. I hit a raccoon when we came back from Thanksgiving holiday and it cracked the front bumper in half. One of the supervisors hit a dog a few weeks ago and ripped the whole fender off. I told the guy at the Ford dealer, "What happens if I hit a car, if that's what happens when I hit a raccoon?" The state has plenty of vehicles. Last time they gave me a truck from one of the other departments.

it's supposed to get up to 45 today, which will feel like spring after the last couple of weeks. but our heater bit the dust here at work, so it's like 55 degrees in here now. i'm only typing this to keep my fingers from completely freezing up.

Today is our second day above freezing, in fact it's almost 70 degrees already. However, there are still some spots in the yard that barely get sunlight that still have large bricks of ice that haven't melted. Gonna be 75 tomorrow!

As we ready for another 4-8 inches of snow, let me say that I hate you all.

Here's something I never thought I would type. It was a balmy 47 degrees here today. It's suppose to get into the 60's by Sunday. But we may be getting more snow next Friday. YUCH!

Our snow is gone. I still had difficulty driving yesterday as there were a few spots with maybe three inches of sludge on the road. I've only got one car to drive now and its a possum pusher with about two inches of road clearance.
