Sure his (groundbreaking) stand-up was better, but Pryor made some funny movies in the 70s and 80s and, at times, even showed a talent for dramatic acting.
A few of my faves:
"Silver Streak" and "Stir Crazy" (great collaborations with Gene Wilder)
"Bustin Loose" (must have seen this 20 times when I was a kid)
Have heard "Blue Collar" is one of his best films, but haven't seen it yet.

One of my guilty pleasures is "The Toy" which starred Pryor and Jackie Gleason. I remember when it came out, it got bad reviews, but I always enjoyed it. Pryor and Gleason were both very funny and even though they had different comedic styles, I thought that they worked well together.
Silver Streak is fantastic as well. Pryor and Gene Wilder were great!!

I have a soft spot for See No Evil, Hear No Evil, even though I know a lot of people hate it. The Toy is good call, too. So many viewings on HBO back in the day.
And Brewster's Millions, I still love that movie. Vote None of the Above!

Back in high school, I must have watched Moving 1,000 times. It's not a great movie, barely even a good one. But it's a long time obscure favorite of mine.
