He did. Unfortunately the only dead people he could talk to were insurance salesman, advice columnists, and people who would not shut up about their bunions, so he abandoned his experiments and went into refrigerator repair.

Why doesn’t Johnny care?

Post by sol-survivor on Jan 11, 2020 18:58:36 GMT -5
He really does care. In fact, he cares too much. He's working on trying to protect the Earth from know-it-all pushy young boys in tiny upsetting shorts who are obsessed with giant radioactive mutated beasts and robots and is trying to act like them. Once he infiltrates the group he's planning on destroying the movement from within. Doesn't look like he succeeds but at least he tries.

He actually does. While it isn’t a big hit in Texas, Steamroller Smith contacts a friend out in Los Angeles, who sold it to a folk group. Steamroller makes sure that Chase gets the royalties from the sale of the song.

Not entirely. He continues to look for them every time he's on a call, and never seems to have the pictures turn out. Eventually he decides he's wasting his time and gives up, only to have some become important evidence in the very next accident call he responds to. Somehow he manages to get a leg up on the evidence this time, and the subsequent accolades for actually doing his job almost go to his head. A heart-to-heart with Chase sets him straight again, and he manages to keep his jurisdiction from any further invasion by giant Gila Monsters.

Post by Prime Minister Jim J. Bullock on Jan 13, 2020 9:47:23 GMT -5
He did. He told the mom that Marinda died fighting the evil forces of Troxartes, helping Deathstalker defeat him and that the forces of good owed her daughter great deal. Saddened, at her daughter’s fate but grateful to know she died fighting evil the mom gave Deathstalker a sack of potatoes for nourishment on his journey.

Since they realized it was more or less Good vs. Evil they let it go as long as Good won. If the Tool lived he would be working for Good, and if he died he would be a martyr, so it would work out either way.

The grounds look great but the house starts deteriorating. When Jenni does decide to sell it Mickey is distraught. Jenni offers to have him be part of the package but he decides to run away and is never seen in the area again.

That was his original ambition, but Martin turned out to be a very popular and capable Sheriff. Brett was pregnant almost before the credits rolled, and she and Martin were a very popular couple as Martin went about his duties. His popularity is partly from the sympathy factor after the other Sheriff got eaten, but once word gets out about how Martin helped kill the monsters it makes him even more popular. Barney is sort of jealous at Martin having such a good life, but then Brett fixes him up with a girlfriend of hers and soon Barney is almost as gushy about her as Martin and Brett are about each other. Barney decides that he's happy being Martin's Deputy for as long as Martin wants to be Sheriff.
