I liked the universe is 6,000 year old part. What a puny place we'd live in if that was true.
This weeks episode definitely had less history and more science. Although I enjoyed the William Herschel & son parts my mind kept screaming about the sister, Caroline Herschel. You know, the first woman to discover comets and all that? Very, very important to her brother and nephew? I hope a later episode will include her.

While tonight's was FAR more a biography than a science documentary, it was a VERY important episode. While it may be obvious to some, we do still have vested interests trying to pervert science to their own ends for profit. Long story short, I loved it.

I missed most of this Sunday's episode. I know it was about Faraday. I was watching Hausu on TCM and only remembered to turn it with about 5 minutes left. In Hawai'i TCM's Silent and Foreign film spots on Sunday run from 6pm-10pm. I was lucky to remember all the previous Cosmos episodes but Hausu seemed to occupy my mind. It's such a weird movie.

Anyone still watching? I liked last week's episode. I'm still digging this show. Before this last episode, I only had a vague idea of who Faraday was and why he was so important.

Am I the only one who started saying, "Down, down, down into the Earth," when they showed Frank Baxter during tonight's episode?

Watched the final episode last night, as expected it was a great ending to an awesome series. This is probably one of the best TV documentaries I've seen and I highly enjoyed it. Might even pick up the DVD set sometime, which comes out tomorrow.
