Money is tighter for me these days and I have no wall space but the autographed poster will hang. Maybe in my formal living room.

I just noticed the stretch goal of a second movie today. I've got mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, I love the thought of a live show of Anaconda. On the other, I hope it doesn't impact the production values of both shows by having to split the funds from two Kickstarters for it.

I doubt it will. What has me concerned is that they might not do Anaconda if they don't meet the stretch goal. If it's tacked onto Godzilla it might be harder to raise the money than if it's got the fanfair of a new KS. Godzilla is pretty bad and a better candidate for riffing than Anaconda, which already has that air of "self-conscious badness" about it, but I'd still love to see both done. I loathe Roland Emmerich movies so I can't wait to see Godzilla riffed.

I have mixed feelings about this (being a hardcore Godzilla fan who hasn't seen GINO in 15 years...), and am still debating on going.
On one hand, it's a dream come true having some of the MST crew taking on this p.o.s. But on the other hand, RiffTrax's writing has been REALLY hit-or-miss for me. I'm just afraid it'll be a lot of middle-of-the-road 'stock' jokes and full of missed riff opportunities.

I hope Kickstarters get first chance at tickets again. I'll fly this time. No 25 hour drives.

I got my tickets last week at the box office because I just happened to be in town. Going with quite a large group this time. Should be interesting.

Have fun, dph. It is beautiful in Nashville today. Unseasonably cool for the second year in a row. Low humidity. My son and I are just hanging out until a few hours before the show. Then early dinner and sit in line for a few hours.

Just back to the hotel from walking from Belcourt. I thought the show was excellent. A little volume trouble for the movie early on surprised me. Kevin had to ask them to cut it up. That's the only negative I've got. I laughed from beginning to end. They announced the next one is in Durham, NC. A number of us saw CT in the same theater. It's a relative skip and jump for me... 3 1/2 hours each way. Bought my tickets today.

We had considerably more trouble with the sound in theaters receiving broadcasts--I could hardly hear at the beginning and often the live crowd sounded like they were in a tunnel.
Still had a great time, though! "SACRE BOOM!"

A little volume trouble for the movie early on surprised me. Hey, at least it had sound. Which makes it an improvement over the clips they had at the Sharknado show. The show was pretty good. The riffs got a little patchy in the midsection, but when they hit the room was on fire.

We had sound trouble too, but it was all through out. After Kevin asked for "More movie please" it seemed everytime the music was playing, we couldn't hear any jokes. I missed about 80% of what Mike said due to his low volume.
Before the show started, me and my large group had the whole theater laughing making jokes about popcorn and the price of it. When they got to the scene in the Garden where the babies were tearing up the popcorn, and one of the guys made a joke about "Well there goes 2.8 million of the budget" our theater exploded with laughter.
"Instagram the movie." had our theater going early on.
I was a little disappointed that there was no short.

I had thought there was a mention of a short, somewhere, although I could be wrong. But with the movie going 2+ hours, they probably didn't have the time for one. Loved the "Norman" call back. In our theater it was hard to hear some of the riffing as well. I also love that they list all the contributors on Kickstarter as well.

Great show last night. We also had the sound troubles in the beginning but it worked itself out after a while. I think they've had funnier shows but this was still a hoot. I forgot just how stupid this move really is. Bring on Anaconda!

The fish icon jokes were a big hit too.
I liked the joke slide "Hollywood Lingo: Reboot- Pinata full of cash!"
