Hell yes. I really enjoyed what I saw of the last one.

Two things I'd like to see: 1. No repeats from last year. 2. Another even Mike/Joel split.
BONUS ROUND: 3. Expand the marathon. Eight episodes will get them over 12 hours.
SUPER BONUS ROUND: 4. Dunno how it would be possible, but ensure international viewers get a chance to enjoy the marathon.

As far as increasing the length goes, they could easily do 8 episodes. 8 episodes plus a standard ~8 minute break/intro, like last year, for 100 minutes per episode, is 13 hours and 20 minutes. Which is a pretty good length marathon. It would have to be earlier in the day: 10AM to 11:30PMish, or earlier.
Any more episodes than 8 and you start running into scheduling problems regarding starting too early or ending too late. 10 episodes = ~16 hours, 40 mins 12 episodes = ~20 hours 14 episodes = ~23 hours, 20 mins 16 episodes = ~26 hours, 40 mins 18 episodes = ~30 hours The last two might be doable. Start the night before, around 8, run all night and the next day. Like what they used to do in Turkey Days of old. I believe most Turkey Days averaged about 30 hours.

53,000 hits for a barely advertised, short notice marathon (maybe a week's notice) of a cult TV show, only available to be watched on YouTube on Thanksgiving, against football and parades and dinners. And it was #1 or #2 trending on Twitter that day. I think they did pretty good. I think they think they did pretty good. They're having another one this year. I see no reason why they WOULDN'T expand it.

A little miffed it's still only 6 episodes, and we already know 4 of them from Volume XXXI.

Um, what makes you think the Volume XXXI episodes are included by default? Joel will handpick the six episodes himself with assistance from twitter suggestions, same as last year.
I hope he ends the marathon with details on the MST3K revival.

Care to make it interesting? A gentleman's wager? One box of Wild Rebels cereal says I'm right.

Who wins if two episodes appear but not all four?

I'm in. I wager a bowl of Captain Ron cereal.
If we both win, as suggested, we have to fight to the death, Star Trek style.

[Gong struck] Dada-da-da-da-da-da-dadada. Dada-da-da-da-da-da-dadaDA. Daaaaaaa DAH...or something like that.
In all seriousness, just saw a tweet from Trace that alluded to some "VO" work he did with Josh yesterday. Voice over for Turkey Day?

I hope someone will collect them and offer me a copy on DVD form. Or etched into a gold brick. I'll be on vacation.

I'll be with family on Thanksgiving (shocker!), but I now have a laptop that can connect to WiFi and my family now has WiFi, so I should probably be able to get a bit of it viewed. Hopefully there'll be a good few episodes I've not seen yet.
