Robot vs Aztec Mummy. The titular bout lasted 90 seconds. Edit: And it had this guy: Oh, yeah, wasn't he something? His scenes really saved the movie. He was the glue that held this movie together.

Moon Zero Two is watchable... nice bright sets and costumes, a cartoon, a groovy theme song. An attractive leading lady for the gentlemen, and for the ladies you have a balding, round faced, uh, git... hmm, sorry ladies looks like your schmidt out of luck on that one.
Slime People is bad, sure, but I get a kick out of it
Robot Monster is a hoot, too silly/fun to hate.
The one's I struggle with movie-wise are Robot Holocaust and Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy.
I'd go with Aztec Mummy.
As for the other eras" I find Strange Creatures more excruciating than Hobgoblins
Batwoman is as much a slog as RZC
Manos... yeah, I'd stick with that, even ahead of MAGG

Out of all the seasons one episodes, none are as dull and painful as The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy. Mad Monster, The Corpse Vanishes, The Slime People, and even Moon Zero Two all barely edge out episode 102 as the definitive worst movie of the era. Oooh, ouch. You've got a couple of my favorite Season 1 shows in there: The Robot Vs The Aztec Mummy: Yeah, it's rotten, but it's my kind of rotten. I loved listening to Crow and Servo making fun of the crappy robot in the movie, and that sight gag in the theater where Joel covers the mouth of the woman singing in that one scene and the audio track drops out and, of course, the climactic showdown which you'd miss if you blinked. The Slime People: The fog in this stinker approaches that of Pod People -- which is to say, Pink Floyd levels of stage fog. The riffs during the TV studio scenes are priceless, as are the gags they pull during the scenes where the Slime Peoples' fog machine is shut down and they start keeling over and dying. And that writer character -- I can never remember his name -- is such an absurd character, and so badly acted, that he becomes brilliant. I tried really hard to get into The Corpse Vanishes, as I'm a huge Lugosi fan and saw this movie in its original version on the old Count Gore show back in the '70s, but it was just so damn' slow and dry that I only gave it two or three shots before it went into the backup pile. Same with Mad Monster -- I've always loved how George Zucco played devious, brilliant villains back in those days, but considering its premise, this one just doesn't seem to bring the creepy as well as it could have. Never cared much for Moon Zero Two, either. Even considering how much I have to suspend disbelief when watching most sci-fi, this one has lapses so stupid that it just lost me. The over-the-hill astronaut's lady cop girlfriend would've been more believable if she'd been wearing a uniform that wasn't bought from an S&M shop. It seemed as if this movie couldn't make up its mind what kind of movie it was going to be; ostensibly, it was supposed to be a halfway serious near-future sci-fi drama, except that the opening credits animation sequence makes it look like it's going to be a Blake Edwards comedy.

It's funny that, generally speaking, personal reactions to bad movies seem to be even more subjective than reactions to good movies.
For example, many have commented in the past that The Corpse Vanishes was a slog. Yet hands down that's my favorite Season One ep. On the other hand, The Mad Monster would be my pick for the worst, but I see it has its defenders as well.
And while we're at it, my contender for worst Sci-Fi era movie is unquestionably Blood Waters of Dr. Z. I've seen that ep once. Once was enough.

As part of my "accidental" project, "For The First Time, Again", I watched Blood Waters Of Dr. Z for the first time since MST3K went out of reruns about 15 years ago, and it was an instant favorite. I love how the titular evil scientist is a slouching, forlorn loser who, after undergoing his transformation into a mutant man-fish, is still a slouching, forlorn loser. Even before Mike'n'the Bots threw down their first riff, I was giggling like a loon from the moment I heard the first line of narration: "Sargassum -- the weed of deceit..."

I guess I have to be the first to nominate "Project Moonbase".

I have only seen 5 Josh-era episodes as of this writing (Legend of the Dinosaurs, Women of the Prehistoric Planet, Robot Monster, Robot Holocaust, and Untamed Youth), but out of those I'd say that Untamed Youth was the hands down the worst.
EDIT: I have now watched Black Scorpion, but it is nowhere near as bad as Untamed Youth.

All right, sorry since I know this is about Josh-era movies, but nobody thinks Girl in Gold Boots was the worst of the last seasons? I find it absolutely depressing!
On to the actual topic, I actually think the crawling hand is my personal worst for season 1. It just really drags in several places and the host segments weren't that strong either.

Mad Monster is a big a snorefest as you'll ever find. It gets my vote... hands down.

Okay I haven't seen season one in a super super long time and I don't remember it that well? But I do remember getting mad sick of COMMANDO CODY!! Each installment made me into a more hateful person LOL like however bad the features were they didn't leave spite in my heart and I wasn't resigned to watching them through half-lidded ennui
I nominate Radar Men from the Moon but it probably wasn't even that bad HAHAHA
