I'm sorry If people feel I overreacted or I was saying it was inappropriate to discuss this issue. I just think this thread should be reserved for those who've actually died.
I am sorry, I hope we can move on and (unrelated) I hope Joan Pulls through.

Yeah and why do we need to appreciate people after they're dead? We should show our appreciation on a whim instead of waiting until they pass on. I think Joan would like it that way, like Richard Pryor in "I ain't Dead Yet"

Me too. I had a gut feeling she'd make it, but I've learned to never trust my instincts.
God bless, Mrs. Rivers.

Once you reach a certain age and something serious happens it's usually the last train out of town. She definitely blazed a trail. I can't say if there is an afterlife but if there is I would suppose she is there now saying "Can we talk?".

i'll miss her show, fashion police. i was definitely a "joan ranger." the last time i watched it, she closed it out with a few words about robin williams, as it was just after his death. she almost chocked up a bit talking about him but she didn't get too sappy. she kept it joan.
i'm SO glad this was on youtube - it's only a couple of minutes long, but i think it's the best way to honor joan rivers. she summed up comedy so succinctly in just a few lines. plus, it's hilarious.

I am sorry, I hope we can move on and (unrelated) I hope Joan Pulls through. No problems with me. I knew my post was a bit offensive and mean spirited. I've gotten more coarse and mean in my old age. I didn't wish Joan any harm. You were well within your rights to express your opinion.

E! ran a fashion police marathon today that i missed because of work. but i did catch a special on joan rivers, done by her fashion police co-hosts. if you never watched the show - even if fashion is not your thang, it's worth trying to catch at least a few minutes of the show they did, just to see how funny joan could be. it looks like they're going to run it a few times over the weekend. at the end, joan's daughter, melissa, said that fashion police would continue without joan, beginning in january. not sure how i feel about it - i can't imagine the show without her. she was the show. but i'm glad i caught that tribute to her - it was a nice send off for the joan rangers out there.
