In early 2007 (egads!), waaay back in the retired thread "Esoteric References V", I emphatically (and repeatedly) insisted the joke in Mitchell with the "Daktari stool" was just a TV reference and had no intended scatalogical meaning.

Some one has annotated the riffs on MST3K's Mitchell. It's interesting. However, it seems like they should go all the way and annotate the host segments as well. For example: some people may not realize that the "Daktari Stool" in the invention exchange is a reference to a 60's TV show "Daktari" AND a question in the Meyers Briggs personality assessment test about a having "dark tarry stools". I got a million of 'em -- dark tarry stools that is.
