I admit that I'm curious about how it'd play out. I read one of the crossovers done in Bongo comics, but, well... you can get away with a lot more in comics.

Watched it this morning and it wasn't bad. Not a classic, but it had some good moments, including Bender wanting to kill Homer. I just wish that Futurama would still be on the air.

Goddamn that was a lousy episode. At least the Family Guy episode took strides tomake the two shows blend together. Every aspect of this episode felt il-concieved and out of place. The plot was just a lazy attempt at a crossover and the humor was just loud and obvious.
I've enjoyed most of the episodes this season, but so far it's the worst-written episode of the current crop. They should have just let Futurama die.

I didn't set my expectations too high so I found it moderately enjoyable.

I liked it. Sure it wasn't anything incredible but a lot of the jokes made me laugh.

Yes the first episode of the new season of "Family Guy" was the crossover episode.

It's weird. I've heard that Groening had his name removed from the show because of the Critic crossover episode and here we are in 2014. We have two Crossover episodes within about a month of each other.

Well, Futurama is Groening's own show, and I tend to believe that even if he was against the Family Guy crossover, Fox execs made certain that Groening would be keeping his name on that one. (The Critic's connection to The Simpsons was, by comparison, far more tenuous.)

Fry's dog. ^^^ This. How did he magically end up in Springfield?
