Two great ones, one really good one and one of my least favorite episodes.
614 - San Fran International is an absolute favorite of mine. Love any 70's & 80's TV Movies or Episodes slapped together to make a "movie". "Oh, he's a made-for-TV hippie." I've been to the San Fran International Airport 4 times in my life and I get really excited everytime I'm there. It has been updated in a lot of ways--as you can imagine--but you can still make out some of the spots where they shot the movie.
520 - Radar Secret Service is another one of my favorites. I didn't watch this one for a long time and then one day I threw it in and it became one of my favorites and not just because of the excellent short, Last Clear Chance--though that is one of my top 5 favorite shorts. I can't pinpoint why I love this episode so much. Its slow paced much of the time, you can't tell who's who (as Mike & the Bots point out), but I love it. Maybe its that damn radar that gets to me… Radar has got me under its spell… If radar is wrong, then I don't want to be right!
502 - Hercules Excellent Herc episode. When the Herc episodes aired, they were some of my favorites… then, for years I went through a faze where I didn't really watch them much or at all… when I went back and revisited them, I began to appreciate them again and this is a really good one. The only one I'm still not super keen on is 410 - Hercules Against the Moon Men, cause the sand storm really is DEEP HURTING!!!
Finally, 401 - Space Travelers has always been one of my least favorite episodes since it originally aired in 1992… Dennis Miller scolded them about riffing this re-titled version of "Marooned", and despite the fact he was probably coked up when he did it, I do agree with him. Not cause its a good movie, cause I believe nothing is un-riffable--but this is such a slow, downer of a movie… Its just so damn depressing and slow paced… I love every episode of MST3k, but this one rarely graces my DVD player on MST3k viewing night.
Overall, a pretty awesome set despite my dislike of 401... I still need a cleaner copy of it--my worry is will Shout deliver on that "cleaner" part… they've been "okay" lately, but I'm sure another "The Dead Talk Back" or "Beast of Yucca Flats" is still sitting on Jim Mallon's shelf rotting away, waiting to be shipped out to the masses…

Good set.
San Fran Int is the best of the group IMHO
Hercules is my favorite from the Herc eps
Radar tails off at the end, but is kick for the most part
Travelers isn't a huge favorite, but there are laughs to be had
So not a bum in the bunch for me.

Really happy about a set that's all episodes I have never seen. I can't even remember the last time that was the case.

Somehow I had forgotten that "Last Clear Chance" is the short along with Radar Secret Service. I suppose that elevates this set from "Meh" to "Not Bad" for me.

Sounds like a good set. I've seen Radar Secret Service and liked it, haven't seen Hercules a while though. Space Travelers and San Francisco International will be new to me, so I'm looking forward to that.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best sets ever!

Really good set as far and I am concerned. I pre-ordered from Amazon this time. Not sure what extras Shout if offering. But paying the extra price for the coasters was not worth it in the long run. Although I do like getting the sets about 3 week ahead of the official release date

But paying the extra price for the coasters was not worth it in the long run. Pretty sure the extra price was more for the tin, dude. :/

Just noticed that the price for this set has dropped to $42.99 at Amazon. Shout Factory still has not released a list of extras. But they have said that you will get the set a month early if you order from them. I jumped in and got mine from Amazon for $41.98 quite sometime ago. So for now I will go with that.

Well would you look at that, SN is getting its own featurette!
Looking forward to the Levine feature. Could be interesting, that's a diverse career.

For a limited time Shout Factory is "Love Shout, Geek Out" sale. $10 off any order over $50, plus $3 shipping. There are other deals available but you will have to click the link to see that. This means I get $10 off MST3K Vol XXXII and get it a month early. Came to $43.97. Paying $2 more than Amazon and getting the set a month early is more than worth it. I placed my order and cancelled amazon over a week ago. So I do not know how long this sale will last. www.shoutfactory.com/editorials/love-shout-geek-out

Thanks for the heads up, Dave.
For those wondering how long it lasts, the editorial says it ends on February 18th, so you have about 20 days.

Thanks for the heads-up. Ordered XXXII and also finally got around to getting the free slipcases for the 25th Anniversary and Turkey Day.
