In a few weeks/months i'll be starting a independent film called "Blunt Massacre". It's a black and white cheesy horror film where the killer murders people with a hair brush and the cops try to track him down. i have the script down. I just want some ideas on making it.

If you haven't already, get people to read your script and take their notes (if helpful). Rehearse and storyboard extensively. Look for points to add and build on mise en scene. Edit as you go. Leave space in your budget/schedule towards the end of the shoot for pick ups and little bits of connective tissue you may need. And don't be afraid to leave the camera stationary. There's far too much jerky hand held work going on.

Remember to point the camera AT the actors who are talking. Make sure the dialog is audible. Oh, and make sure the lighting is sufficient to SEE the actors. Oh, wait, you don't need to do any of that.

I don't even know you, and I can state with all confidence that your movie will be better.
