I went on MST3k.com just for the hell of it yesterday and turns out they're having a major sale on everything, including a few Shout Factory box sets (Vol 14, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 24, 27 & 29): mst3k.com/store/home.php?cat=8 I ordered Vol. 27 for $12.50 and Vol. 29 for $13.75!!! Plus a new Tom Servo shirt for $4. Seriously, how cool is that!?

Thanks! Already have all the box sets, but grabbed the 4 Shout Select singles I never bought and a couple T-shirts.

Didn't get any box sets but I got a T-shirt and some other goodies for pretty cheap. Thanks for the heads up!

Are you people all giants? All the shirts I wanted came in only XXXL. Great deals, though I wonder why the big sell-off.

I haven't been able to afford any sets since Vol. 24, so this was too good to pass up! Hopefully Amazon will do another one of those crazy $24.99 sales later this year... Are you people all giants? All the shirts I wanted came in only XXXL. Great deals, though I wonder why the big sell-off. I was lucky to find a small of the Tom Servo Men's Chorus shirt! Maybe they're going to close up shop soon?

Looks like they don't ship outside the U.S. Was going to pick up XIV, as I am missing Final Justice from my set, but no dice.

Looks like they lowered the price another 25 percent. I ordered two of those sets for twice that much last week.
There's been speculation that Jim is liquidating the store in preparation to either sell off the rights to the show, or something else. And that this is a last ditch cash grab to make as much money as possible on the merch he's stockpiled over the years because he won't be able to in the future.

Filled a cart with what was left: a T-shirt, mini posters, static clings and mauspad. Total $5.75. Shipping cost to Canada $26.00. Pass.

The DVD sets were gone, so I settled for a ball bumper shirt and Robot Roll Call shirt for my nephew.

Three months ago when the store had a 50% sale I went nuts and bought a load of stuff. Five shirts, a mouse pad, bumper stickers, posters, some of the old stuff. Glad I did when I did because it looks like that sale and the subsequent price drops have cleared out the store! Surprised to see such reductions. It really does make me wonder if Jim is selling the brand. Is there any speculation that Joel is taking full ownership, or a third party is buying it for that long rumored sequel series/reboot?

My money is on a combination of Joel and Shout! Joel already owns a good chunk of the rights, so it shouldn't be too expensive to gain a majority if Jim wants to keep some of the rights. And Shout! would be a natural partner for distributing. But I'm not sure if Jim/Joel would want to sell the rights to a company, no matter who it is, they've always seemed like they prefer the show to stay in individual, independent hands. With Mike and Co. making so much money off of Rifftrax, I'd like to see them try to get some of the money they deserve back from the MST3K brand, and ideally everyone minus Jim would work together on a new show.
