Three time MVP and NBA hall of famer Moses Malone died at age 60 in a hotel in Virginia police say. Malone was the first player to come straight to pro basketball from high school playing for the Utah Stars, of the American Basketball Association, in addition to the Stars Malone played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, Washington Bullets, Atlanta Hawks, Buffalo Braves, The Spirits of St. Louis, and the San Antonio Spurs. Malone won MVP honors in 1979, 1982, and 1983, when he led the 76ers to an NBA championship and was named championship MVP.
