I will say this, Garrett Dillahunt is a heck of an actor, and I think he's actually quite good in this. He played two different roles on Deadwood, two completely different roles, and was killer in both of them. I'm seeing shades of that brilliance here. He and Morgan are keeping me in this season so far. He's got a Hell of an awesome first name, that's for sure.

Maybe the Vultures were out of range, I don't know, but if it were me, I would have shot those people as soon as they got out of their cars - BEFORE they opened all the vans containing the Walkers. I don't know how much liquor these people have, (seems to be an endless supply of bullets, at any rate, but all the rum's gone, I guess) but I would've made some Molotov cocktails and launched them at the first van that, I guess, was dripping oil all over the place, then some towards the other vans with the Walkers in them to maybe have the vans explode, again, BEFORE the Walkers started coming toward the stadium. Don't know if such a thing would work, but I wouldn't have just stood there and watched them do all this sh*t. Of course, then, that wouldn't compliment the crappy story line they have going. I don't know about this flash forward then backward thing. Looks nice and artsy and all, but, we're watching people we already know are dead or some we already know are going to get out of some predicaments we see them in, because we see them later. Kind of ends the suspense. I had some hopes for this season, but it's not panning out. I just don't care about these people. I already know Nick is going bye-bye, and he was basically holding it together for me. And with The Walking Dead TOS fizzling, and maybe some other people rumored to be leaving, this franchise looks like it's on its last legs. Maybe they'll start another show, based in another location with a new cast. This could be the new Law & Order or CSI, where they have a whole bunch of shows from different locations.

Madison said, you're not gone until you're gone - or when you're gone, you're gone - something like that. Didn't see her getting killed, so I won't believe it until it's confirmed. Was she on Talking Dead? I didn't watch it. Maybe it was confirmed on there. Don't really care. I want to care, but, eh.

A Walkernado? Really? Not getting TOO desperate, are they? I think I'm giving up on this show. Absolutely NOTHING happened. Not a good way to start the second half of the season.

I didn't watch the end of the first half of the season, or the last season, however it's set up. I just stopped caring about this one. Dwight from TWD is crossing over. Is this supposed to be a big deal or something? I don't know if I should watch it or not. Maybe I'll record it and fast forward through it just to get the gist.
I don't know. Is anyone still watching this? Kind of beating a dead horse with this one, aren't they?
I just.......

So. They for real just made an entire episode making it seem like it was tense and suspenseful focusing on land mines. While interspersing it with the characters - who were supposed to be endangered by said land mines- TALKING ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS ON A VIDEO. So we knew none of them were going to blow up. Wow.
I don't get it. How is that good story telling? I'm waiting to see if there is a connection in this for that group that took Rick (they would have to do time jumps, though, so I don't know how they're going to pull it off), so I still watch it, but it's getting quite painful.
They do entire episodes of these characters just moping around about their pasts and talking about how they're going to "help people" because, hey, what else is there left in this world? What indeed, folks, what indeed.
The characters of Dwight and Morgan have been ruined by being on this cartoonish show. It's starting to feel like they are a rip-off of Z Nation for sh*t's sake.

That whole ladder-from-one-car-to-another scene.... No. Just, no.

Was that Khary Payton (Ezekiel) reading Don Quixote when Grace was listening to books on tape? That would be a nice little Easter Egg. Couldn't place the voice. Could be an actual book on tape with another actor who actually DID it, but, I wonder if they used The King.
Anyone remember what he did for a living before the apocalypse? Was he an actor? (Other than the circus thing {edit: or zoo} where he got Shiva).

I really, truly sincerely hope Morgan is dead because Lennie James doesn't deserve to be in this schlock-fest. If someone swoops in at the last minute and rescues him, or if he finds a way to "just live" * eyeroll *, getting away from the Walkers and surviving the gunshot wounds somehow, that would just be a cheap repeat of Rick's predicament. Would be nice for a Rick/Morgan reunion, but not in this cringe-worthy way.
I don't get Virginia AT ALL. Did I miss something? What is her DEAL? What IS she trying to do? It's never really explained. Everyone just says something to the effect of "we don't want to be under the thumb of someone like that" or "we don't want to be a part of that" - but part of WHAT? What did she DO? I know she killed whatever the hell Matt Frewer's character's name was, don't even remember this is so bad, and of course she shot Morgan. But WHY? What are those people ABOUT? "It's not about today, it's about tomorrow." But...but...what is their PURPOSE? What kind of communities do they have that everyone doesn't want to be a part of it? Just...WHAT?!
Did my mind blank out at some point when this was actually explained because I just couldn't watch with my full attention because this is just the worst show ever, or did they literally NEVER EXPLAIN THESE PEOPLE?

This show broke the stupid meter. Or...REbroke it. So, a woman who just gave birth is fine and clean and the baby is fine and clean, and after having just given birth she is able to take down her just-turned husband and build him a cairn. She just sprang back great after that ordeal, giving birth with no one to help and no medical equipment or any supplies to clean herself and the baby with, then just finds the strength to do all that. Okay.
And Morgan just cleanly pierces all those skulls with the force of one hand and a slightly sharpened STICK.
Come da fuq on.

I know. I know. I probably shouldn't bother with this anymore. I still punish myself and watch it just IN CASE something about the other shows, and the ties to Rick come up. (Rick where are youuuuu!!! We need you! You're the only thing good left in this franchise!! - Hope they don't ruin Rick next). Still don't care about any of these non-characters. When they killed off John last week and June ran up to him and there was a hope he was still alive and they just showed him turned, that was the first time since Season 1 when Travis had to kill his ex that I got a little emotional with this show. Dillahunt was the best character on this one and well... About time someone offed stupid Virginia. Still don't get any of her motives for ANYTHING she did. Were we supposed to feel sorry for her when we found out Dakota was her daughter and not her sister? So flipping what? What does that explain about any of Ginny's doings? I was hoping June would kill Dakota as well. Who cares about her? Ugh. Where are they going with this? And what is with Strand not going into the settlement with the rest? What the hell else is he going to find "out there"? Maybe he'll find Madison still alive. But, do we care? Again, no. I'm typing into the ether here, I guess. Oh, well. Wasting my time watching the show and wasting my time even trying to come up with a reason to continue on this thread. My life.

Why don't these morons just MOVE to a different state or something? Or at least a different city. (Texas is big, after all). Sure there's the fear of the unknown, and there's an unsure-ness about where to go and what will await them, but where they currently are sure isn't safe. Why stick around? Hell, Morgan knows of at least ONE other settlement with other people *cough!* Alexandria! *cough!* What are these mooks waiting for? Hmm. Let's just stay in a place where our former ally would rather war with us and won't let us into his community. And where there is NUCLEAR RADIATION just - radiating all over the sh*t place. (Only when the wind blows just right, 'cause that's how that works). Ugh. (By lack of responses, I'm guessing no one else give a rat's ass ).

I'd heard rumors that Madison was coming back. I was wondering if they were going to do something cheap and just have it be in Alicia's fevered mind or something, but, nope she's back. Is SHE the head of Padre? (Is it North Padre Island, or something? ). And is this new development going to make the show any more fast paced or interesting? I'm guessing "no" on that one.
