Today looks like it's going to be a great day so far. I think we could hit $1.75 million today if we continue at this rate.

If it hits 1.75 today, that would be pretty remarkable as it would mean little to no drop from yesterday. I was expecting around or a little over 100k today, but looks were leaving that in the dust.

I'm sticking to my prediction of about 150k today.

I'm sticking to my prediction of about 150k today. I think you're going to be pretty spot on for the day. So then do we predict somewhere the realm of 80-90k tomorrow? How do weekends impact Kickstarter campaigns?

I have never given to a kickstarter campaign before but I sure did for this one. A drop in the comparatively speaking but if there's even a little chance I could help...Count me in!

Got an email from the kickstarter campaign. Can't copy and paste it all here, but at the end Joel says he has "something fun" to tell us tomorrow. The new host and mads, I guess! And he also says that he hasn't invited any mst3k alums yet, because he wasn't sure if the funding would be there. So now Joel says due to what happened in Paris he won't be announcing anything until tomorrow. Despite how much I'd like to hear the news I understand how it could be inappropriate to share something happy soon after such sad events.

We'll hear soon, I'm sure.

That's what I expected would happen. It really doesn't seem like an appropriate time to be talking about a puppet show that's raising two million dollars.

Yeah, completely understand. It can wait a few days.

Day 4: We started on fire today, but it kind of dwindled off. Maybe once the news of the Paris attacks hit the project started seeming less important. Impossible to know. However in the face of such a tragedy, we still did solid numbers today, accomplishing somewhere around $125,000, a still good decrease of 46%. We are currently sitting at $1.69 million.
Tomorrow will hopefully be solid. There's a lot of things going for it: Joel's delayed announcement, it's the weekend, and we're still doing numbers in the hundreds of thousands. We could maybe see the same figure we had today. On the low end, I'd say we'd still have a great day with a dip of 25%, which would give us $87,000. While this would take us out of the six figures, it's important to note that even a number this low would push us past $1.75 million. The bummer about that is that the dwindling numbers mean that $2 million goal is still a few days away, but we're approaching the crawl period that we all knew was coming. The only question is how much can that crawl maintain in steady momentum and are any of the bonus goals possible?

Kicktraq has Friday at 141,897, and already 10k for Saturday. I suspect the weekend will be a wildcard, probably down due to awful things that happened tonight...

I know nothing of Kicktraq and am just noting the numbers from midnight to midnight each day. It sounds like Kicktraq is several hours ahead of me (because the number sure hasn't went up $10,000 since midnight), which explains the difference in numbers.

Ah...yeah. I think Kicktraq uses eastern time zone.

They passed 1.7 million, but funding is going to be low today, like 60-70 thousand, unless Joel makes a big announcement.
