Been looking over your reviews and your page... looks good, very detailed, looks a lot of effort and thought went into them.
As for Killer Fish, 3 times was not the charm, I still didn't enjoy it... but after finally laughing at Hamlet the last time I watched it (after years of it being near the bottom of my list), I'll never say never, again. K.F. your day may come.

Thanks. What's weird is that from doing this I've gotten so good at writing about bad movies that whenever I find myself writing about a good one I feel completely lost.
Most of the feedback I've been getting about Killer Fish is about how much people hate that movie, so it might just be me because I enjoy it. Don't know. I've watched the episode maybe four times now and I've had a blast each time.

Our latest review is of the outstanding Teen-Age Crime Wave, an episode so great that the only review that could do it justice would be "TURN IT ON! TURN IT OOOAAAAAAGH!" And another DVD volume in the books. Check out the uniformly excellent Volume XXXIII, a must-own MST volume if there ever was one! Next Time: And so when you run out of slits, you run out of pier.

As we enter the final hours of the Kickstarter, let's venture to far away Russia and maybe the Mads will teach us how to talk to girls. It's The Sword and the Dragon, our latest review! Next Time: "It's like that scene from Pod People where Trumpy came back to life!"

Hey. Didn't you hear? New episodes of MST3K are coming. And the blog is celebrating with a review of Mac and Me, the first episode of The Gauntlet! Next Time: Listen to me girls, watch your P's and Q's.

How can anybody be blue when Mamie Van Doren is around? Just the same, let me tell you all about the Girls Town blues! Take a trip to Girls Town with our latest review! After that little venture, take a peek at what can't be released on DVD. It's an overview of Satellite Dishes! Also I post a review for the forgotten infomercial Poopie Parade of Values! Am I that starved for content? You bet! But all this supplemental content can only mean one thing, a new DVD retrospective has dropped! Take a look as I reflect on the final (so far) DVD volume of the classic series, Volume XXXIX! Next Time: The head that wouldn't die.

Hooray for Girls Town, a classic indeed (wasn't that one of Mr. Atari's all-time faves too?) - I just watched Harold Lloyd Jr. (who was in Girls Town, playing Chip) in a Rifftrax Presents (Frankenstein's Daughter), he wasn't quite the talent his pops was.

I daresay neither he nor Chaplin Jr. were as successful in following in their fathers' footsteps as Lon Chaney Jr. was, as far as legacy children to silent stars were concerned.

Oh great. Just what we needed, another head that won't die. Come see what has been unearthed in today's review, The Thing That Couldn't Die! And another DVD volume down. Come check out a retrospective of the DVD volume that dares feature a movie owned by a wine farm, Volume XXIX! Next Time: Creamy goodness.

Today's review is the creamiest yet! Watch Ann-Margret deathgrip John Forsythe by the junk and not let go with the Hollywood drama Kitten with a Whip! Also, we venture our way through the complete (well...as complete as it is) Radar Men from the Moon, via a nifty shorts compilation! And with those two, it's time to overview Volume XXV, a turning point in MST volumes! Next Time: The prequel to Shang-Chi, proving MST3K I a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Get those hashtags ready, because it's time to cancel Christopher Lee. Today's review is the inherently racist and maddeningly incoherent Castle of Fu Manchu, a movie that punishes not only Joel and the Bots but all MSTies everywhere. And another volume in the books! We also take a look at the lackluster, but worth having, Volume XXIII! Into the mirror universe we go! Next Time: BRO BRO BRO YOUR BOAT

The other thing Fu does is spoil the ending of another movie, "Campbell's Kingdom", it's a Dirk Bogarde film (of whom I'm a fan), so if you ever watch that one, you're not going to think "hmm I wonder how this will turn out?" you already know what's going to happen to that damn dam. (You can't really spoil the ending of A Night to Remember, but still, they do it there as well)
I wonder if Dirk was pissed off about that, because they used scenes with him, there he is, clearly seen running up a hill straight towards the camera. Did he get paid? Does he have any say in his likeness being used like that (I signed to do this movie, don't put me in that other crap, please)? I wonder how that works out?

I suspected that scene with the dam was lifted from another movie but I didn't look into it. The production values suddenly turned good for like a full minute, then back we were in Fu Manchu-land.

I suspected that scene with the dam was lifted from another movie but I didn't look into it. The production values suddenly turned good for like a full minute, then back we were in Fu Manchu-land. I went on a Dirk Bogarde binge about 5 years ago after seeing him in a film and being impressed by him as an actor (and later as a person). So when I watched that I had this feeling of deja vu. I knew I hadn't seen the movie but there was something familiar about that dam (and the plot around the building of it) and Bogarde in blue flannel... and about midway through it hit me, and I went, well damn you Fu, you spoiled the ending! Ha!
