Rifftrax have released at such a pace that I quit burning them to DVD. I started compiling them on hard drives. Now I'm wondering if should just rely on Rifftrax.com to stream from?
How do you store your trax?

Except for the ones I own on DVD, I just stream them from Rifftrax. I do worry about not having an offline copy just in case Rifftrax shuts down, but it's just easier this way. Hopefully, there are fans downloading them just so if the worst happens and they shut down, they'll all still be out there.

I think that's the route I'm going to follow too except for synced movies. I will continue to burn them to DVD.

How do you store your trax? Poorly The audio-only versions I usually back up to CD, and the synced ones to DVD. I still have the vast majority of my Rifftrax on the hard drive of my old laptop. The laptop works, I just haven't had a chance to transfer those files yet. This is making me think it's time to watch another run of the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I mainly just keep them at Rifftrax.com and then download them as needed. Having said that, I have a number downloaded that I've not deleted on my computer.

I'm in that same boat but hard drive space is getting tight. I've already got 4 externals hooked up. No room for more and no money left for bigger.

Temp storage via Dropbox for the ones you don't listen to often?

I download them as I need them, and usually store them on flash-drives but I don't have a super huge collection of trax so that wouldn't be a manageable option for when I decide to crack down on their library. For my MP3 tracks, I usually try to get some pre-sync discs from a friend (I still download the commentary to listen to the intro, but these days I just stream them from the site).
Otherwise, Rifftrax.com is pretty much the only storage I need, as slow as downloading is for me.

I've got most of the mp3s saved on an old 160 gig iPod classic. The VODs I just stream from the Rifftrax site.
With the new app coming, I suspect I'll just use my MP3s through that, to simplify the syncing process.

I'm interested to see how the new app works. I never tried the old one.

I buy the physical DVD when available, but the digital only titles I do buy I burn to DVD when the disc image is available. Otherwise, I simply download and keep them in iTunes where I stream to the TV via Plex via the Wii U browser. Sounds complicated, but it is actually very easy (though it all depends on how nice my wifi wants to play).

I enjoy that when you buy a physical copy from Rifftrax, they also add the digital file to your account. I got my copies of the two Santa Claus live shows last week, but I've been watching them online. I'll probably still pop in the disks to check out the trivia slides.

I download. There's no reason not to. Large hard drives are cheap.
I did order the physical DVD of "Magic Christmas Tree" several years ago when they offered free shipping on it.

I prefer physical media, so I usually just buy the DVDs as they release (except for the last four Live DVDs) and have just recently begun to download the earliest uncollected shorts that don't seem likely to end up on DVD (Parade of Aquatic Champions, Unto the Least of These, and Courtesy Counts Alot being three examples). As for storing them, for now I just use the Rifftrax website's 'Library' page of purchased trax.
