I love Quantum Leap (rewatched the entire series last year). But as a thread this is kind of skimpy, don't you think? Lol
Great show though. During my rewatched I was pretty addicted from beginning to end.

Quantum Leap is now being broadcast on the over the air COZI TV. Which my local Comcast cable affiliate picked up. Good show.

That was a great show. I know a lot of people aren't fans of the ending, but I always thought it was one of the more powerful final scenes from television. Not necessarily an "everything turns out fine" ending. To me, the show always had a melancholy feel to it underneath. That title card after the final jump still kinda gets me.

I agree about the ending. It always felt as if it served the series well, and even left us with the impression that the adventures went on even if we aren't along for the ride. Sure Sam not making it back was a punch in the gut, but it felt like a sense of closure even without it.
Probably the one thing that bugs me about it is that it wasn't meant to be the finale qnd that final text was only added after the series got canceled. I've often wondered where the sixth season would have continued from that point now that it was known that Sam could control the leaps.

I was a huge fan of the show. It's really frustrating that Netflix doesn't have all the episodes; and that some episodes are missing key scenes/plot points because of music rights. I always loved the episodes with Sam's or Al's families, and I remember the original airing of the JFK two-parter being a HUGE deal in our house.

that was a great episode the JFK one, i loved the show and watched i'd say nearly the entire run. damn i miss this show BAD and they were gonna try and bring it back a few years back and Dean Stockwell was going to be in it but i dunno about Scott Backula. sorry for the bad spelling if i spelled his name wrong, i really hated how it ends, here's why i loved the idea that Sam was able to give his Al's 1st wife's news that he is still alive as they had pretty much said that was his true love.
i just hated the fact that Sam never got home again. here's a bit of Trivia too... when it was 1st shot that wasn't suppose to be the Series Finale at all. but after it got cancelled by NBC i think the folks who made it got the stupid idea to put at the end of the show that Sam never went home again. though it's said in the episode that he can go home again and is able to. Sam asked how? but he was never given an answer uh that might uh help ya know?
