Anyone else starting to get a little bummed by the lack of updates? It'll be 3 weeks as of tomorrow.
I know that they are probably busy, you know, making the show and all. But still, part of the Kickstarter process is to ask for the money, and then keep your backers up to date--it's kind of one of the implied rewards of being a backer. Plus, it doesn't need to be a big production. Joel should take some notes from some of the other modern producers/directors that will tweet out behind-the-scenes pics and such.

It was always going to be slow going for updates once the Kickstarter ended. Honestly I'd want them to concentrate on making the show the best it could possibly be.
The only thing I'm wondering on is when exactly we're going to get the bonus classic episodes they promised. I don't think it would have been that difficult to give out.

Oh. Where you going?... Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Oh... I think I love him.

With that username, I would think a more apropos quote would be--
Yeah, hi. It’s Bill Lumbergh again. Uh, I just wanted to make sure you knew that we did start at the, um, usual time this morning. Yeah, it isn’t a half day or anything like that. So, if you could just go ahead and get here as soon as possible, that would be terrific.

I went in for a pretty substantial pledge. Of course I realize that there's tons of work to do before even the schedule for production gets ironed out, but I'm supposed to fly out to LA to be part of an ep and I wonder how much advance notice I'm going to get.
I hope they don't contact me a week before and say, "ok come on out!" I'll have to take time from work, get a flight, and get someplace to stay (all on my nickel).
So far I haven't heard a thing. Of course I realize it's just been a month since the kickstarter concluded....

Joel posted on Twitter that he hopes to do an update "soon."

Joel posted on Twitter that he hopes to do an update "soon." I agree with your choice to put that in quotation marks.

That means the next update should be up by Memorial Day.

Or they might space out the cameos from pledgers on different episodes.

I hope Joel addresses wether or not Hampton and Baron will eventually do their own puppeteering. I know I'm not the only one who wants them to do it themselves. I think it would be nice if he at least acknowledged people's complaints, to show if he is listening to us.

I don't know what thread I posted this in, but if you watch Other Space (which I recommend you do), Trace is the voice of A.R.T the robot (hmm, no references there), and in the credits he's listed as a puppeteer--one of three! My gut tells me that's how the new and improved bots are going to work--multiple puppeteers.
