The second serial shorts disc isn't really worth hunting down, unless you're a completionist, since as mentioned all the segments are on their respective episode DVDs and to my knowledge none of those volumes are hard to find. The Commando Cody one is worth getting if you're a collector, as it is the most serials they've covered so it makes for a long enough compilation. Plus you have the aforementioned new intro. But man, that Summer Blockbusters DVD is something special! What else hasn't seen a DVD release that would be ripe for a bonus pre-order incentive? Poopie Parade of Values and Play Mistie for Me Triple Decker comes to mind. Did This Is MST3K, The MST Scrapbook, or Poopie II ever appear on DVD? Tom Servo's Favorite Host Segments might also be something worth releasing, I know Vol. 1 had a DVD from Best Brains. I forgot if those included new content. Turkey Day '93 and Turkey Day '94 have also never been released, though I can't see it happening given all the legal issues involving Adam West and the random fans. "This Is MST3k" would be a killer bonus (makes me wonder if there's any red tape to prevent SF releasing it). "Play MSTie For Me Triple Decker" was released on DVD by BBI. A DVD with the full-length Scrapbook Tape, Poopie Parade of Values (and unedited Poopie II) would be great. Plus "The Last Dance: Raw!" which I'm sure will be a bonus feature when DIABOLIK is eventually released. One thing I'm always hoping for is Mike, Servo, and Crow's appearance on Good Morning America promoting the 1998 Godzilla movie by offering Godzilla trivia and riffing on select scenes from the classic Godzilla movies King Kong vs. Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Hedorah, and Godzilla vs. Gigan. With Toho it'll probably be a no go, but I can dream. I don't think I've EVER heard of this appearance!!!

This one is for you, Travis! m.youtube.com/watch?v=_SQiojRWMnkThough I got the show wrong, it's CBS Saturday Morning and not Good Morning America, but it's still a really good clip. Hedorah gets the brunt of the jokes (riffing the infamous flying scene), while they don't do much with King Kong sadly.

"This Is MST3k" would be a killer bonus (makes me wonder if there's any red tape to prevent SF releasing it). There's that sequence where they show a clip from Colossal Man unriffed and then the same clip with Joel & the bots.

There's that sequence where they show a clip from Colossal Man unriffed and then the same clip with Joel & the bots. Ah yes! "The Making of MST3k" looks like it would be easy for SF release. What I really wonder is if we'll see LITTLE GOLD STATUE PREVIEW SPECIAL or the ACADEMY OF ROBOTS' CHOICE AWARDS SPECIAL.

Did we already see the cover to the bonus disk? If so, I missed it. If not, here we go:

It's a shame that as a non-American, I won't be able to get the bonus disc. Shout doesn't ship here...

It's a shame that as a non-American, I won't be able to get the bonus disc. Shout doesn't ship here... Seeing as it is a freebie, maybe it won't be such a legal issue for somebody (not me) who has it to privately share a disc image with foreign folks. Or, maybe somebody (not me) will post them to vimeo or youtube for preservation purposes.

Heck, I'd gladly PayPal the cost of set XXXVI plus shipping to Germany plus some extra $ to have two brewskies over to anybody who'd set me up with the genuine DVDs...

Ugh, I really want this collection. The odds of me having the funds are all-but null, though.

Also a note on their product page says fewer than 280 bonus discs remain as of 5/18.
