with the mystery film, are we talking a movie that they have not riffed before (including movies done in the MST3K family tree) or just by rifftrax. Someone from Rifftrax popped into the Reddit thread and said it wasn't Twilight or something they had riffed before. |

Much like with Samurai Cop, an early AMC listing looks like it may have revealed what the "Mystery Title" will be. If you want to know (just in case anyone doesn't want to be spoiled, I won't directly link it), just go to www.amctheatres.com and search Rifftrax and the listing comes up. |

Well, this might be my first subjection to REDACTED, so maybe it'll make a fan out of me.
Have no clue why this title had to be a mystery though. Seems anti-climatic. I was expecting something "OH HELL NO HOW DID THEY GET THAT." Maybe they just didn't want certain hardcore nerd picketing them.

That sure as hell wasn't what I was expecting. Be interesting if PRODUCTION COMPANY REDACTED would be willing to give up VOD rights.

I don't know if the situation with this particular film is anything different, but they've done VOD's of this series before, so I didn't think there would be much of a problem.

PRODUCTION COMPANY REDACTED actually doesn't hold the rights to the previous titles riffed. Another company does. |

SAMURAI COP is one of my all-time so-bad-it's-breathtakingly-good bad movies. It really doesn't need riffing to be funny, so I'm hoping they do some decent writing for it. Either way I'm excited to see SC on a big screen! It's glorious.

They were hands down he highlight of the Reunion show, so I welcome this with open arms.
I do also wonder if this might be a sign of further involvement with Rifftrax in the future.
