There are a few things worth complaining about here, foremost being Crow's unnecessarily beefy arms, and the bland, bland set design (why not "collage" the walls), but I'll wait for the premiere to properly be annoyed.
No, those look permanent. Notice that Patton's outfit is a white version of Frank's chauffeur uniform.
That's what I was thinking too. New color jumpsuit for Jonah, new color Mad suits for the Mads, like an inverted Frank suit. Which works for Frank Jr. But, Dr F Jr should have some sort of green on right? And, I think that's what bugs me--they're both the same, so they come off looking like kitchen staff. Or like the guys carving you off a slab of roast beef at a catered event.
Seeing these shots make me really curious about seeing the bots being puppeteered. These changes probably serve some functional purpose, especially since Joel is on record with the desire to make Servo and Crow's arms functional and those are really the only changes to the body they have. And I have no clue how functional Gypsy is going to be just by looking at her.
I REALLY want to see these puppets in motion. I think it's going to make all the difference in the world.
Costumes I'm less concerned about. I liked Felicia's original costume better, but I'll deal with it.
