Loved it. Seeing Hampton and Baron's chemistry put out there like that really sold me on both of them. They were funny, spot-on improvisors, and just overall FELT like Crow and Servo. And if I'm getting that feeling, then I have a good idea that I am going to dig the new season.
A few notes:
The new robot is still named Waverly. Not a lot of new info on him really except hearing his voice.
When the Kickstarter launched there was a lot of talk about how much Hampton sounded like Trace. In this video, to me he sounds more like Bill. Maybe he evolved into an in between?
After seeing Servo's arms in motion, I'm mostly left indifferent. It seems like a "Why bother?" addition, seeing how they only really move up and down and he can't really use his hands anyway, unlike Crow. To be fair, it adds a small bit of expression, however Kevin could express just as much with his Servo puppet with immobile arms, so I'm just not feeling it here.

Yeah, the voices are pretty good; It'll be easy to get used to them.

Sorry the puppetry was a little off on Crow when they entered. We didn't have monitors so we had no idea what we were doing or what could be seen. But it was a bunch of fun. Hampton and Baron are a blast and it was fun hanging with them all day.

Who's voicing Waverley? Is it you, Grant? Or is it a spoiler? Is the person in this video the person doing the voice in the actual show?

Servo's new arms have a definite KTMA vibe.

No need to apologize. You all did a great job. And as someone who was concerned about the practicality of the enhanced bots, this video showed how well they work. It's going to make the next week's worth of waiting all the more unbearable.

As someone who sat through the entirety of that glorious technical malfunction of a telethon they did in 2015, briefly seeing a puppeteer in this really brought two simultaneous reactions:
A. Indifference because I've seen worse.
B. Brought back fond memories.

When that Star Wars audition promo came out, I wasn't a huge fan of Baron's Servo voice. The livestream convinced me otherwise, both bots are in great hands (same goes for the puppeteering).

I don't think they had formed into their own yet when they did the Star Wars video, though I was totally on board with Hampton when he did his line "Which one of you is George Lucas? Is it you? Oh sorry, ma'am."
Baron it took me a while to warm up to. For one I thought his voice blended too much with Jonah's (hopefully it's not too much of a problem in the final product), and granted that's not Baron's fault. Secondly, as far as I'm concerned Baron had the most intimidating job on the new show. Everybody was following up someone who have a special place in our hearts, but Baron was replacing the actor/character combo that had the longest onscreen tenure on the series. Jonah has the benefit of following two hosts as two separate characters and making up his own in the process, while Hampton is following two puppeteers who had strong successful runs as the character respectively, proving he could survive a change (one admittedly lasted much longer and is thought of as superior by most). Kevin Murphy's Servo is an entirely different beast. The take on the role is so beloved and that unique voice for the character is so iconic that the thought of anyone else taking it on just seems a little weird. It's true that Josh came first and laid out a lot of what made Servo his own, but Josh bowed out so early and therrare so many fans who disregard his seasons altogether (these people are wrong) that it often feels as if Kevin is the one and only Servo. That is a pretty big hoverskirt to fill.
But after seeing that Q&A, while I totally understand if people still resist the change, but to me that was absolutely Crow and Servo conversing. I could picture Kevin and Bill doing something similar. I am very much looking forward to seeing them in action.

Already loving Waverly just from that brief glimpse. (Hi, Waverly!) And Baron and Hampton seem to have great chemistry, and the voices sound just fine to me. Show looks like it's going to kill it. Color me happy.

Great video! I think they kinda feel like younger versions of the bots in a way. I'm sure Hampton and Baron have some big shoes to fill, but so far I'm quite impressed and I think they're gonna do a great job on the new show. And yeah, that new Waverly bot is pretty cute.

I think they kinda feel like younger versions of the bots in a way This is a really interesting thought. I can't be 100% sure because I don't know everyone's ages, but (excluding J. Elvis who was super young) are Hampton and Baron younger than Trace and Kevin were when they picked up the bots?

Doing some quick research, it looks like Trace was just turning 30 when he started playing Crow and Kevin was around 33-34 when he picked up Servo. Hampton is 24 and Baron is somehow 36 even though he looks like a college student, the handsome bastard.
