(^^^ I'm guessing that smiley is a Ninja - but anywho--- ) Holy crap! That movie was hysterical. I'm thinking the lead guy cut his hair sometime before the project was finished, 'cause that wig just wasn't cuttin' it. I was laughing pretty much throughout the whole thing, as was everyone else in the theater. Good crowd. I thought the movie started at 7:00, but it was 8:00, so I was early. I had time to eat and I was the first one in. The short was funny, too - Chalky. Any shorts from that era with Lampy the lamp? Broomy the broom? They were all on crack back then, I guess. I wish I could remember some lines. (I remember black gift). I remember that mob boss yelling most of his lines unnecessarily. And the really bad hair throughout. Funny stuff. Hopefully some of the rest of you can remember more.

Holy crap. I think I have a new favorite live show.
I have not seen the VOD, so this movie was entirely new to me. This is like Rifftrax's Space Mutiny!

If you're interested in learning more about the film, the folks at RedLetterMedia did an interview with the "star" and asked him a bunch of questions about it.

And to answer your question, yes he cut his hair after he was told that the film was finished. Then a few months later the director called him into his office and told him there were more shoots, so they ran to a wig shop, bought a wig, and shot a bunch more stuff.

Great show! Hilarious short, horrendously inept feature, great riffing. I'll go into more detail in my thread in the General Comments section.
I've asked this before, but is there a site where they put up the pre-show title cards. I particularly liked the one re: "The Last Jedi".

Laughed my makeup off as per usual! Gotta quit wearing eyeliner to these things.
The best part of that luxuriant wig was that it clearly came from one of those Halloween stores that pop up in empty storefronts in October, and it was still so much more healthy looking and sensual than his actual hair! Between that and Robeart Z'dar's manful ignoring of the rapidly rising floodwaters of suck swirling around him, this was the best live show in a while.
SELFIE TIME! CHEEEEEESE!

Great to hear the positive reviews! This was one of my favorite recent bad movies even pre-Rifftrax.
Anyone here who has seen the VOD as well and has thoughts on how they compare? I'm assuming that like most 2nd passes the Live version is superior. How much difference is there between the two in terms of riffs?

Because I usually can't afford it, I didn't know about this live show until the day of, but I could swing to go! And it was *amazing*! There were so many levels of bad in this...
I'm also glad to see that the star of the movie is a good sport about it. I didn't watch the video yet, but his Twitter feed had a friendly exchange with Bill's the other day.

Yeah, he's a good sport. He was making fun of the film as it was being made. It shows in his performance.

Didn't he have a girlfriend? Wasn't he saying to that woman at work, "I'll see you at home"? Then he starts hitting on every other woman, and brings that daughter of the restaurant owner or whoever she was back to his swinging gramma bachelor pad.

I think the implication was they were sleeping together on the side. They also made her out to be either a slut or someone who jokingly flaunts it later on when they're doing that raid later on, she turns to that other cop, and asks him "wanna f***?"

Oh, yeah, forgot about that. Was this the first R rated Rifftrax?

Oh, yeah, forgot about that. Was this the first R rated Rifftrax? If we're talking specifically live show, then Starship Troopers claims that title. Rifftrax overall would be the first, Road House.
