I'm assuming most everyone has heard about this, but now it's time for a thread to discuss it. Joel, Jonah, and the bots are coming to a theater near you, live and in the flesh (or hot-glued molded plastic, as applicable). In each city, they'll be doing a live riff of "Eegah!" with new jokes. In select cities, they'll be doing a second night with a riff of a "secret, sci-fi, previously unriffed" film. Check the site for your city. Unless you live in Texas. Join us, won't we?

Sounds like fun! I am a bit concerned as they made it sound like Hampton and Baron won't be there, did they ever mention their names?
I opted for the 5pm Eegah! show in Chicago. I did want to go to the mystery movie instead, but 8pm on a Sunday was a bit late for us. Can't wait!

Baron and Hampton are confirmed form some dates (Hampton may be for all of them), but Baron has a kid due this summer and may have to take some family leave.

I've got my ticket for the Boston show, I hope Baron and Hampton can make it! I opted to pay extra for the VIP meet & greet deal. Gonna try to bring my Tom Servo since he has no autographs on him yet. So excited for this! I'm bummed the "mystery film" isn't being used near me... hopefully it'll be recorded at one of the shows for a special live-show release down the road.

Awesomeness! Already got myself a ticket for Salt Lake City, glad that Joel is giving Utah some love, despite his remarks from the reunion show. I considered a VIP ticket but I'm a bit pressed for cash at the moment so I settled for a regular ticket, but I'm still looking forward to it!

I'm still trying to see if there was something more concrete, but a lot of the event listings have things like this, listing Hampton for Crow, but no one for Servo: www.ticketfly.com/event/1485824-mystery-science-theater-3000-washington/Appearing with Joel and Jonah live on stage will be robot companions Crow (Hampton Yount), Tom Servo and Gypsy, along with Synthia (Rebecca Hanson) and her Bonehead henchmen. Of course, it wouldn’t be “MST3K” without the ever-present surveillance of the Mads, Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) and TV’s Son of TV’s Frank (Patton Oswalt), checking up on their unwilling test subjects via a video screen.

Patton would make a great temporary Servo (but he's probably busy with movies and stuff).

Do you need to have been a kickstarter backer to get a VIP ticket?

If they don't play in Idaho, I can't give a crap. Sorry.

Do you need to have been a kickstarter backer to get a VIP ticket? Nope! Kickstarter backers just got a pre-sale code to buy tickets Tuesday.

This is one of the few times I wished that I lived in the US. It's okay though... I have... free healthcare and food with concealed inedible objects...yeah...
Seriously, though, I want everyone who's going to have the fun I won't have. And to tell me how it is!
