Batman v Superman: A Rifftrax All-Stars Event?

During the Kickstarter this year fans voted on the blockbuster from the options of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. While I lamented that the newest Fantastic Four movie wasn't on the list, the one I would have chosen of this group, Batman v Superman, ran away with the vote.

Well details of this riff are hitting and apparently it won't be a normal Rifftrax. It looks like the Justice League of riffing will unite! The Avengers of Rifftrax will assemble! The Suicide Squad of funny will...commit...suicide... Okay, forget that last one, but it stands.

Batman v Superman will set groups of Riffers each taking on a portion of the film, not unlike the recent shorts shows where each performer gets their own short. The line-up includes Mike, Kevin, and Bill of course, along with Bridget and Mary Jo, Janet and Cole, Matthew J. Elliott and Ian Potter, making their Rifftrax debuts senior writers Connor Lastowka and Sean Thomason, and last but not least in their studio Rifftrax debut TRACE AND FRANK!

All of this and no riffer named MAAAAAAARTHAAAAAAAA!

Will the experiment pay off? All I know is that I'm buying day one.

The blu-ray will be $4 at Best Buy for Black Friday. They usually do free shipping, and Amazon might price match.

I wonder if they'll do the theatrical version or the extended, home video version.

From what I've heard it's the theatrical. Guess I can't watch it in 4K then.

I’d assume theatrical, because that’s been available recently on HBO (Not sure if it’s still there).

Not all of the clips were winners, but often these previews don't showcase the best quips. I haven't been this excited by a new Rifftrax since Breaking Dawn or Super Mario Bros though, so no matter what this is a must purchase.

Unfortunately I have a holiday cash squeeze so I won't be able to pick it up until after Christmas. But I got a group of friends who want to throw a party around this.
