Re: BoJack The View From Halfway Down was such a powerful episode (and poem). I see comments online from people who have thought of suicide, or had attempted it, and they said it really hit home for them. This show is the most "real" of any show, and it's presented by cartoon animals (mostly animals). If live actors did it, I don't think people would be able to even watch it. The last episode was so sad. He lived, but it's like every person (except Mr. Peanutbutter) he ever had in his life disconnected themselves from him. I know what they were going for, but I kind of wish they hadn't made him so MUCH of a dick so he could have some kind of better ending. He was trying so hard after all, and seemed like he COULD be a decent person and could work past his mistakes. But the way it ended, it just seems like he'll be pretty much alone for quite some time. Again, with the exception of Mr. Peanutbutter (the one he's tried to avoid for so long). Had they said in the earlier episode about Sarah Lynn being still alive when the ambulance came? I hadn't known that. I had thought that she had already been dead when he'd said her name in the planetarium. If she had been able to be saved and he waited that long, then, yeah, he's more of a dick than I thought. Damn. Edit: And too bad it couldn't have gone for one more season. I would've liked to have seen more episodes about what his father went through, like they did with Beatrice.

I watched the first episode of Locke and Key. It looks pretty stupid and I don't know if I want to continue. I'm busy finishing up Better Call Saul at the moment and don't know if I should even bother with this other one. Not really even curious to see what happens. I guess eventually I'll get around to it, but I don't really want to waste my time.

I watched "I Am Not Okay With This" about a loner, depressed teenage girl who discovers she has powers. It's based yet again on a graphic novel. The premise was okay, and the characters, but there wasn't much to it. It was a short season, so I guess I'll watch another season to see what happens, if they continue it (I'm assuming they are, they left off with some unfinished business).

I watched the third season of Castlevania. It was pretty boring. Just a lot of people talking really slowly. They could've done what they needed to do a lot quicker. It was like, "okay, just something happen, please." Then it got weird and stupid.

I watched Middleditch and Schwartz. It's a couple of comedians who do long, completely improvised sketches. They take a premise from an audience member, like something coming up that they are excited about or dreading, and some other aspects like characters those people interacted with, then the whole episode is just a long scene derived from that, and the two of them play all the characters and sometimes switch which character they are. There are three episodes in total.
Got quite a few laughs from me. Pretty funny.

From my latest binges...
Schitt's Creek - I enjoyed this show a lot. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it. We watched the final season on demand and it was still funny when it ended. It's a sitcom about a rich family losing everything and moving to the small town of Schitt's Creek.
Shooter - Series about a sniper that's based on the movie. I've never seen the movie, so I'm not sure. Anyway, it held my interest for a few episodes, but I gave up on it. The series makes it like the sniper is more well-known than Elvis.
Ozark, Season 3 - Another good season for this series.
Waco - 6 episode docuseries about what happened in Waco, TX back in the 90's. My wife and I liked it, but we don't know how factual it was.
Tiger King - Most people have probably seen this truth-is-stranger-than-fiction series by now.

I started to watch Space Force, but I couldn't get into it and checked out pretty quickly. Maybe I'll fast forward through it to see if there are parts that are funny to see if it is worth it, but it looks pretty blah to me.

That Eurovision thing with Will Farrell looks pretty stupid, so I don't think I'll bother with that. (Can't stand him anyway).
The second season of The Umbrella Academy starts July 31st.

I watched Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy. I liked it overall. Five and Klaus are my favorite characters and when I re-watch, I usually fast forward until I get to one of them. And I like Ben, too, but he's always with Klaus, so when I watch one I watch the other, so that's two for the price of one. Vanya is the most boring character on that show and I really don't like her storylines too much. Luther and Allison are close seconds with the bore-fest. Diego's story was a bit better this season than last season. Wasn't crazy about the character of Lila but she had her moments.
Wish they had picked a better person to play the older version of Five, I wasn't really buying it from him.
Is it really perverse of me that I like watching Five kill people? (I mean, it's not like it's real life or anything, right?) Anyway, I like watching Five kill people. I don't think there would be much of a show without Five's interactions with everyone.

I watched the third and final season of "The Rain." I liked the series overall, though the end was kinda dumb.

Not much of a give-away, but if someone is watching The Umbrella Academy and didn't watch the whole thing yet, I put a spoiler here. Don't like violence in real life, but, sorry, I just love this sh*t.

This scene had me cracking up for some reason.
(They should have just ended this clip at the "frogs are bitches..." part, though).
