I've not been able to watch that yet, but I really, really look forward to it. And them finally getting to Alpha Centauri? For some reason this is a spoiler I'm fine with. I'm glad to know.

Watched Season 2 of The Witcher. I like the idea of it, but it seems to have a lot of episodes with nothing really happening. Everything just takes so long to really get to nothing. Don't know what the point of the show is besides: Hey! This is a TV show of a game!
Tried to watch Lost in Space. Didn't make it through the first episode. No binge-watching for this show, that's for sure. Another slog. Really not enjoying that one at all, but I'll probably finish it eventually to see what happens.

Watched Season 4 of Cobra Kai. I liked it overall; the banter between Johnny and Daniel is fun. Still can't stand any of the kids. Maybe Miguel is okay, that's about it. (Dimitri isn't too bad).
Holy sh*t, though. Johnny having kids jump from one building to another for training is just plain irresponsible. Hope no brain-dead kid actually tries that.
Looks like there will be a Season 5 - the producer of the show says filming for S5 is already finished, it just needs to be edited and whatnot.

Watched Season 3 of Ricky Gervias' After Life. A cute series, kind of depressing, though, and some of the humor is a bit sophomoric.

I watched Tick...Tick...BOOM! a musical based on the play of the same name, a semi-autobiographical piece by Jonathon Larson (the guy who wrote "Rent" and, unfortunately, died before it went to Broadway). It was directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
I liked it, it was a good flick, liked the songs and the performances.
Miranda did a cameo as a cook in the diner where Larson worked and some of his fellow Hamilton castmates had cameos as patrons of the diner: Phillipa Soo (Eliza) and Renee Elise Goldsberry (Anjelica), and also Christopher Jackson (Washington) was an attendee at Larson's workshop.
Also having cameos as diner patrons: Chita Rivera, Joel Grey and Bernadette Peters. There were other theater people there who knew the real Larson but I don't know who they were, I just know they were there based on the Wikipedia entry. I forget the actor's name who played Steven Soundheim, but it was the real Soundheim's voice on Larson's answering machine (because he had lent his voice for the play version).
Pretty good.

I watched Part 4 of Disenchanted. I really got disappointed with this series early on, it had potential then just fizzled out. I still watch it though - since I started it, I might as well finish it.
This season wasn't any better than last. Lucy (Lucie? Luci?) and Elfo had a few funny lines that I liked, but no really good episodes. That whole thing with King Zod and Ursula (the frickin' human bear or forest sprite, whatever the frig she is) and his new son/cub is so stupid, I can't believe someone actually wrote that down for a premise. Zod and Bean are such boring characters, it's hard to care about them.
I still love Luci (heh) and Elfo.

Just watched The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds. Pretty cute, I liked it. Seems every movie with Ryan has him making smart-assed remarks.

Watched the first episodes of Season 4 of Stranger Things. (The last two eps are in July). Don't read further if you haven't watched it yet.
Not liking it. I still like the scenes with Steve, he's my fave character of this show.
But, overall, I don't like the direction this went. The first season was cute and different, then they just kind of lost their way with this. (Second season was good, too, though I wish they had done more with Will after that whole ordeal and didn't just make him "spidey-sense kid" - or mind-flayer-sense kid).
There seems to be a whole new dynamic with El and I don't like what they did to her character and kind of changed the whole sense of what was going on early on in the lab. (Hated that episode in Season 3 with her finding her "sister" - whatever number that kid was Edit: 8), and hated that there were all those other kids. I was hoping El had been the success story after a bunch of failed attempts instead of having all those other powerful kids.
Changed the whole feel of the first season with what they had happen. What, was the trauma of what occurred the reason she couldn't speak in full sentences when she first encountered Mike and the rest? Ugh. They kind of ruined it for me.
Edit: And how did Brenner survive that attack from the demi in the first season? I guess when the demi went for him, one of the other guys shot at it and it went for the other guys instead? Then what? Did Brenner hide somewhere when the monster went for the kids? Did he hide in a closet? The Upside Down? They should've at least showed some flashback in the new season. Did they and I just missed it somehow?

^^^^ Well, I watched Season 3. Don't read further if you haven't watched it yet and plan to.
I REALLY didn't like the direction they went with it. I liked certain aspects of it, but not the overall season. Having the timeline screwed up and a different set of Hargreeves living there was an interesting premise, but I didn't like the whole Christopher thing (A friggin' cube? Really?). I've never read the comics so I don't know if anything in them was included in this season. Didn't like that stupid Oblivion "Hotel" with the Guardians. What in God's multicolored universe was THAT supposed to be? Didn't like that there was less of Five (heh, my fave) and that none of them really did anything all that great, just more bitching at each other. Hated the Sparrows. Thought maybe they'd end up making friends with them by the end, but most of them died off.
They didn't really explain Pogo giving them these "pills" for Reggie. How did he have them and what did they do (suppression of some kind I guess, but for what and how did Pogo have them?) and why was Sir Reg so powerless all of a sudden?
How was Five the founder of the Commission? That doesn't even make sense. (Edit: He had no memory of it, so I guess if they do another season that will explain it). They made Allison an idiot (and murderer - Edit: Though, I SUPPOSE, since Harlan inadvertently killed all their moms and made it so Claire had never been born, that would be quite the motivation). Didn't like the way it ended. What? In that alternate ALTERNATE timeline, did Ray go back with her to live with her and Claire? (He was the same age as when Allison left him). Was all that even real? And they don't have their powers anymore. Was that the series finale, or is there going to be another season? Does anyone know?
Blech, no. I liked Season 2 the best overall, with certain fav eps in Season 1.
I liked certain things in this new season, but overall I was disappointed. (Edit: But, again if they do have another season, I guess it will clear all that stuff up).

Finished Stranger Things' latest season. (You know the drill - don't read further if you haven't yet). If Steve dies we riot! Phew. Not this season, at least. As long as Steve is safe, I'm good. Wonder what will become of Max. El couldn't detect anything of her "essence" or whatever when she went into her mind. I really wish they would give poor Noah Schnapp (Will) more to do. He did such a good job in Season 2 and now he's just "hairs-on-end" boy. Since he knew what it was like to be possessed by what we now know was Vecna (what was the "mind flayer" before Vecna? He encountered that big shadow thing, too. ?? ) I was hoping he would contribute more in the defeating of him (maybe next season?). I was hoping he would get maybe some residual powers of Vecna's or something. Anything?? No? Just -- hairs-on end? * sigh * 'Kay. Though, Mike seems to be "just there" lately, too. Oh, - ooh - to power of "LOVE!!". *eye roll* I liked the character of Eddie, but not really invested enough to get choked up or anything about his death. Wonder what more they have storywise for next season. What more new stuff could they do?

Some questions I have for Stranger Things and The Umbrella Academy, for anyone else who watches them. (Or maybe just issues, plot holes, I don't know).
TUA: How the heck did The Handler know Lila had powers if Lila has to be next to someone else with powers to use them? (Did she look ahead in Lila's future? Which future?) And, Lila could train to fight and all that, but how does she train to use her powers, if, again, she has to be IN THE PROXIMITY of someone else with powers? So, she's just BETTER than everyone else who has those specific powers when those others have had those powers all their lives and used them and trained with them? And she never used them at all in her life until that moment? (Perhaps The Handler had Lila stalking different people through the timeline without them knowing about it? Just to train? I don't know, it doesn't really make sense).
I noticed in the first ep of the first season it said 43 women gave birth without having been pregnant at the start of the day and in the first ep of season 3 it only said 13 or something (for the new timeline). So, did Harlan accidentally kill more mothers than just the mothers of Vanya/Victor and sibs? Did they cover that when they were seeing the newspaper clippings of the mothers of the main cast or not? I don't remember. Or, since it was a different timeline, maybe there was just a different number of women for some bizarre, other reason. ??
Stranger Things: When Nancy and Johnathan had that plan to get caught by the people at Hawkins Lab to record Dr. Owens "confessing", they knew they were being listened to when they called Barb's mom and asked her to meet them at the park, because they knew people from the Lab would show up. But - um, they actually DID CALL BARB'S MOM. The woman ANSWERED THE PHONE. She HEARD Nancy say that she had lied and had something to tell her about Barb and to meet her at the park. But Barb's mom wasn't there. Just all the people from Hawkins Lab spying on Nancy and Johnathan. Uh. ?? So WHAT happened to Barb's mom? Did she just not go? Why the hell wouldn't she? That sounded pretty important what Nancy told her. Of course she would be curious and want to know new info about Barb. I haven't watched a whole episode in a while. Did they cover that? I don't remember them doing so. It just was left hanging from what I can recall.

Watched the first episode of The Sandman. It was pretty boring to me. I don't know if it's worth it to watch the rest. Anyone else watching it? Does it get better?
