Where were you trying to buy them? Tickets come out Friday I heard. Kickstarter backers had an exclusive window to order tickets yesterday. Ah, I see.

So, I only bought one show (the brain) because that's good enough for me (prices were pretty expensive), but I'm glad to say I look forward to this show in October!

It's good to hear Joel admit that Wizards 2 was a mistake. It's a comedy film unrelated to the first one and you can tell the edited out a lot of punchlines. The resulting episode isn't great. A big drop from Wizards 1. So it's nice to get that confirmation.

This might be slightly premature, but a friend of mine was just hired for an airline and she's able to fly for free. She offered to transport me to Portland for the show in November!
I's need to dotted and T's need to be crossed, but there is a chance that I might be able to go to one of these this year!

Anybody interested in two pretty good tickets to the St. Louis show? I forgot how calendars work, apparently, and bought two tickets the day they went on sale, even though I knew full well I was teaching a Tuesday night class this semester.
They'll go to waste if nobody buys them, so I'm willing to sell at below face value. If you're interested, hit me up with a PM. I'll probably list them on a resale site in a few days if I don't hear from anyone.

Had a really fun time at the show. I saw the movie "The Brain". Good stuff. Seeing all four of them riff together was awesome. Tim Ryan voiced Servo and I forget the name of the guy who did Crow. (It wasn't Hampton). BTW: That stuck out tongue is for my forgetfulness, not the guy's job as Crow, he did good.

I'm pretty sure that actress is Jonah's wife, Deanna Rooney. On this tour, Crow is played by Grant Bacicco, who is Crow's puppeteer during episodes (and has operated Crow since Joel started doing Turkey Day stuff again).

Seeing this show was TERRIFIC! This was the first time I had ever seen the movie "The Brain", and some of the jokes they came up with just had me DYING of laughter!
I also got a Turkey Day plush there.

I went to the Portland and both Boston shows... it was a phenomenal experience! THE BRAIN was every bit as wonderfully bad as I remember it, the second show (in Boston) of it was much smoother. DEATHSTALKER II was breathtakingly funny, better than anything in Season 11, and felt like good old fashioned Comedy Central MST3k but with updated references. I REALLLLLLLLLLY hope they use Deathstalker II for the upcoming season (same with THE BRAIN), it's too good to just leave as a one-time live show selection! My girlfriend and I did the VIP tickets on the 2nd Boston show and it was wonderful! Joel remembered me from the film research I did for him back in the Cinematic Titanic days, and Jonah (who's from Hawaii) said hello in Samoan to my girlfriend (who's half Samoan). It was a night to remember! And, of course, my Tom Servo was in tow all three nights and got LOTS of love from fellow MSTies! Here's hoping we get another live show next year!

Someone asked Joel on Twitter if there would be a live tour this year and he responded “yes.”
So they’ve got that happening.
