i loved Jonah’s “Oh thank god, it’s movie sign!” during his blob memories bit.

Oh wow, this one was a hard one to sit through. The movie is so utterly pointless and boring! It's like they had a concept and just missed the mark by miles! Nothing in this movie is even remotely good. It drags on and on and thinks that throwing senseless plot twists at you means that it's doing a good job. It's not, by the way. The team puts up some decent riffs, but this is not one that I will be revisiting anytime soon.

Saw it this afternoon; haven't read the other reviews yet.
I didn't think it was as stupid as "Mac and Me" or "Atlantic Rim". (Nothing could be as stupid as "Atlantic Rim".) It was just by the numbers, highly-derivative and cheap-looking. The characters seemed to give a "Golgafrinchan Ark B" vibe. And Bradford Dillman certainly was very Shatnerian at times. They obviously cut quite a lot from the movie (including, oddly, all of the credits), but I don't think it hurt the story too much.
I thought the riffing was good, and it was nice to hear Jonah give a shout out to Christopher Eccleston; he gets frequently forgotten by the BBC. When I first saw the photo of the marionettes, it was before I saw the list of movies, so I started thinking they were doing another Anderson "movie". During the actual bit, I couldn't help but think "Dark Helmet and his dolls". I hope they bring back Dr. St. Phibes, and I liked the sitar music during the closing credits.
Things are going well, so far. Halfway there.

That segment with Jonah spilling his past embarrassing life moments made me think of the segment from The Brain That Wouldn't Die where Mike is telling the bots a shameful moment from his past.
So, that really was Roger Corman? The whole time I just thought it was a lookalike.
I'm glad somebody on staff noticed that tall guy looked like Ryan Stiles.
Was it just me or did the guy with a mustache kind of look like Mike Nelson?
"I don't like this shot. It's not grate." "Don't worry, Tom. I know you're just venting."

9/10. I liked this episode a lot. Not quite as much as Mac n' Me, but it was a huge improvement over Atlantic Rim. Also, the movie really gave me KTMA vibes -- it seems like the kind of movie they would have riffed back then -- which made the experience all the cozier. The host segments were great too. I loved the marionettes -- and the fact that Max and Kinga actually thought they were terrifying -- and Tom chasing Jonah with the "cake."
Favorite riffs: - "Like, Dotty." (If I hadn't just watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure recently, this would have completely gone over my head.)
- "...my diaper!" - "No glasses. Good."
- "Here's and the church and here's the steeple... Lords of the Deeple." - "Pamela Anderson was here." (If you didn't get this one, it's because the "goo" looks like a silicon breast implant.)
- "So this is where old man Dopple keeps all the jump ropes he confiscates." - "Welp, she's not in the midget morgue."
And so many others, but as in the case of Mac n' Me, there were too many good riffs to remember.

OMG you're right, he did look like Mike! I finally watched this one and this was one boring movie. Like the first half, I kept saying to my friend "Nothing is happening!" The riffing was decent (loved the Dippin Dots jokes about the 80s windbreaker suits the crew were wearing) but good lord, the movie was boring. Like, Swamp Diamonds-level boring. I get what you all mean about the episodes being short. They seem to blow through the invention exchanges and host segments pretty fast compared to when Joel and Mike were doing it.
