Wow! They are really cranking these out now! 8 just came out, 9 in January, and 10.2 in March! By this point, we might hit volume 12 reprint before the end of summer!

Im sure 11 and 12 will come by the end of 2019.. maybe by then some of the titles with Olive/Paramount can be licensed but who knows.. I like the re-releases simply because they are less bulky...  |

Only new feature is the one with Giant Spider Invasion director Bill Rebane. Ballyhoo interviewed him for the VCI Entertainment Special edition release of the film back in 2015. Extra footage from the Rebane interview was used in the feature for the Volume 8 re-issue for the Monster A-Go Go episode
I guess providing just the host segments from Godzilla Vs. Megalon was not an option. I've noted before that the host segments from that episode feature copious amounts of footage from the film. Not possible to legally clear.

Oh thank heavens they aren't including the MST3K Hour Wraps for Gila Monster. I thought they might actually succeed in adding them for this one.

After years of this, I'm not shocked or saddened anymore about it. These re-releases really shows how much Shout only cares about making a buck, not providing the best fan experience. |
