Not to be that guy, but Rifftrax did Retro Puppet Master and The Room references were plentiful.

Any Full Moon movie from the 80s or 90s would be great, and most of them are HD and widescreen. I would love to see Retro Puppet Master, and have the KTMA versions of Crow, Tom and Gypsy cameo. If you haven't seen the movie, it is a prequel to all the Puppet Master movies and introduces early prototypes of what would later become the Puppet Master puppets. The movie itself is riff worthy and I think the meta host segments would be a lot of fun. With Greg Sestero in it, I bet there'd be a lot of references to the room. Love the puppet master films btw, at least the pre-hiatus ones. Puppet Master 1-3 are, I think, legitimately fun and enjoyable b-movies. Trancers (1-3) and Subspecies (1-3) are also good movies that present fun and interesting characters and good storylines despite the low budget. Dollman and Bad Channels are just great. But I think MST3K could really have some fun with the later films in these franchises, and some of the one off Full Moon movies would be good picks. Head of the Family is a bizarre attempt at a Texas Chainsaw Massacre deranged family movie, they could have some real fun with this one. Gingerdead Man or the space western Oblivion would also be interesting picks.

Retro Puppet Master would be a great fit for the show, and its the only Puppet Master movie that was PG-13, so there wouldn't be any issues having to cut gore or nudity for the episode. Also, that idea for bringing back the KTMA bots is brilliant, and a good example of why movies already done by Rifftrax shouldn't be written off as potential MST3K fodder.

I found a movie they could use: Pocket Ninjas. It has bad acting, bad costumes, and bad fight scenes. It's also relatively recent, having been made in 1997 and it's a family film, and Jonah and the bots seem to do best with bad family movies (Cry Wilderness and Mac and Me). It's perfect! i know it wont happen (its in Black and White plus a few other things*) but would love to see them do The Return of Mr. Moto (with Henry Silva as Mr Moto) *its of its era. also would love to see them do A Gathering of Eagles (its a B-52 film). its also has Henry Silva* and Rock Hudson) *he plays a full bird Air Force Colonel, which he wont have not been since he would have been to young to have been one (would have been 35 and that is a little to young) Rock Hudson could have been been (would have been 38 so he could have been)

Honestly, I'll be happy if we get movies with
1) Rocketships blasting off and 2) Going to an alien world, with 3) Weird aliens or robots or both 4) Preferably filmed in the fifties, black and white
I don't want all of my MST3K movies in a season to be like that... or even most of them... but for some reason, I always feel like MST3K seasons without that kind of thing are missing something.

A*P*E (1976). I have no idea how this movie wasn't featured on the original show.

I'd love to see some of the previous suggestions (like "The X From Outer Space" or "The Norseman") featured, especially the Lou Ferrigno "Hercules" movies and the Reb Brown "Captain America" movies. I'd also like to see them, for a couple of shows, do some old B&W horror movies from the 30s and 40s, like they used to. "The Devil Bat" and "Bowery at Midnight", both featuring Bela Lugosi, would be perfect. And they wouldn't need cutting, and would leave room for a short.
