yeah but somebody has to be mature on this board.
Hey wait, I'm 43 or... 44 or something like that. I'm suppose to be setting an example for the younger generation. What's wrong with me (I guess I've bingled my bongle too many times over the years).

How do you know you aren't mistaken? I can confirm one of them. Again, I won't say who though.

How do you know you aren't mistaken? Because I am Mighty and jacked... besides, as Dr. Cortner said, "There are ways... there are ways" "So there are ways?!" - Mike. As an Admin and prefessional hacker I'm privy to untold worlds. Things you'd rather keep secret, things best left unsaid. For example, I know that TomServo69 is wearing Spiderman underoos right now!

Now sampo, I thought he was older. I don't know why but he types like a man twice his age. I was a little suprised when I saw that he was still in his 20's.

I did come from the Sci Fi board and I went by the same name as I do here.
Much better and more fun. Many thanks to all who set up the site and who moderate.

I experienced the catastrophie (sp?) that was the Sci-Fi bboard for a day and I stopped going. I'm glad this site was here because I don't know any other hardcore MSTies. I feel like i'm crazy when all I talk about to my mother about the show. It gets weird.

I was a little suprised when I saw that he was still in his 20's. I figured most people on this board would be in their 20's or 30's with a few older and many younger. I guess I'm one of the freaks. I am unsure how the board members will react once they discover I'm as old as their dad...or in a few cases their granddad! Yow!

In regards to the bumbershoot/bumberchute argument, I have something to add. *groans, sighs, boos heard in the background* Hey, be quiet, this is a very important issue! *mutters of discontent* Anyway, I grew up near Seattle, and there is a music festival every Labor Day weekend called "Bumbershoot". It's pretty cool, there are all kinds of bands and artists that play there, and no Britney Spears or Justin Timberlakes allowed. I've never been to it, though. So, there is such a word as "bumbershoot", although it's not MST3K-related.
See, wasn't that enlightening? *more mutters, snickers, hisses*

That's what you get for all that stuff you did. I really don't see why mst3kinfo arbitrarily chose this board for redirection. There are several others that popped up at the same time. Please tell me where these are (on the level) as I've looked High and lois and have not seen a single more productive or as productive board as this. IMDb is the closest I've seen and there's no real graphic design or sub-menus there. All the topics there are so banal too: Mike vs. Joel: Fav. Ep.: least Fav. Ep. ect. BTW anybody ever post there? I go by Bossoscar, since you're wondering. In closing I just want to say I did this all for the glory of love....like a knight in shining arm...a-armor....please, just not the face ok?

It always surprises me when someone reveals that they're not the same age as me. For some reason I assume that the poster is in their 20's, because that's what I automatically imagine, that I am conversing with people my own age. So, it's like, MY God, Chemical2010 is only 12?! Phantomengineer is in his 40's?!! At least one of my favorite posters, DoctorZ, is only....oh, wait, he's the oldest one here! Gaah!! And then I get over it. Hmm, so now I realize that a professional hacker has my e-mail address, full name and mailing address. Uh oh! Just kidding, I trust you, MightyJack. You have given me free episodes.

Actually I believe the phantomengineer is well into his 700th year. Me, I'm only 22, but, due to destructive activities, I feel like I'm about 75. It's bad when you sleep all the time and you're still tired. Servo

I think the age thing definitely matters on some levels. If you are looking for friends you can relate to, yes, it most definitely matters. Each age we go through has a unique set of problems and triumphs. Somebody in high school has a very different view of the world than a homeowner with a hole in his roof ;D. However, I think you can share an enthusiasm for a hobby no matter what the age. I am learning a lot about my favorite show from everyone here no matter what their age and that keeps me coming back.
