Well, it's seems Miss October is a JUNE wannabe. Nothing like having the air conditioning running in October. Sheesh. It's like 80 degrees out. Enough already.

If a tree falls in the woods and there IS someone there to hear it, does it make a sound? Yes. Yes it does. An extremely SCARY sound.  Holy sh*t. My sister and I went for a walk at a state park yesterday. It had rained for two days before then, so, I don't know, maybe the ground by a stream that was there was a bit unstable, but man oh man. We heard this enormous cracking sound and then this giant creak and saw through some other trees this huge tree falling. Thank God it was over the stream and not by the trail we were walking. (And since it was over the stream, at least it didn't start a domino effect). Dayyyuuumm. Pretty nerve wracking. At least we were able to see a great blue heron it had scared up. |
