For those who saw Prince of Space - did it have the same darkness issue that was present on Shout!'s DVD and the version they gave Amazon (and presumably iTunes)? I'd be curious about this too -- not "Prince of Space" itself so much as just the question of, are the streams the same as the DVDs? If an episode is missing, say, a title slate on the DVD, will it also be missing when it streams?

I mostly just want to know that Shout! has a proper master of the episode. I am hopeful that is the case, as the Amazon version of Boggy Creek II had horrible muffled audio quality that was not evident in the DVD, Rifftrax, and Shout! TV versions, suggesting that the master itself is fine and there was some sort of encoding boondoggle that happened after the fact. Hopefully Prince of Space is the same. Confusingly, Shout! put a new and corrected version of Boggy Creek II on Amazon, but the old one remains as well. There are in fact two Amazon Video product listings for this episode: The Bad One: www.amazon.com/Mystery-Science-Theater-3000-Continues/dp/B071NLYW2V/The Good One: www.amazon.com/Mystery-Science-Theater-3000-Continues/dp/B082YMSXPH/

The prints (of Space) looked fine, but I’ll let the person who recorded at quality comment.
Also there was a wild preroll / clapper thing before 104 (Women of the Prehistoric Planet) that I don’t remember being on DVD.

That's the internal production slate. Season 1 (and Season 2, I think) wasn't edited in-house, they sent everything away to be put together, so what you see is the slate that company put on the front to identify the tape. A later, in-house, internal-use only slate can be seen on some of the BBI vault tapes I bought from Tom Naunas. They're obviously never meant to be seen, but its neat to have them included on some of these releases.
My best guess is Shout re-transfered digital copies of the episodes off the masters, and if 104 were to be re-pressed on DVD, that slate would be edited out, but they missed it on the streaming copy.

For anyone who likes the Twitch channel, but wants to know either what's on now or coming on in the next 24 hours, or what's been on and when (since the channel began), a few of us put this together: tinyurl.com/MST3Ktwitch820Always updated! (We know 24 hours ahead at a time thanks to the guide of the identical channel on Stirr.)

Oh my goodness, I can tell that a lot of effort was put into this. I always love seeing this kinda stuff done by the MST3K community. This is definitely useful for those who watch the Twitch channel and want to know what's coming up. Having a complete Twitch schedule is also really cool, even if the stuff from 2019 isn't included. But that's not a big deal, since the Twitch channel only aired for about a month that year. Nice work!

I actually do have the 2019 stuff datamined, it's just not yet been added. It's mostly by the book episode-order-following, except they started showing CT, FC, RT, and Backlots (the DVD special featurettes) on December 7th.
