I finally got some rewritable DVDs today. So, when I get the chance, I'll record the IFC episodes I have. IFC also added a new episode to their schedule. Time of the Apes is airing during the usual 5 AM time on Feb. 22.

Last night, I recorded The Crawling Eye (the first airing of the show on IFC) on a DVD. I'll upload it to the Internet Archive once I figure out how to rip footage from the DVD. Also, schedule update! On Feb. 29, they're showing... The Unearthly. Wow, they're really picking the worst of MST3K aren't they. This is a very strange episode package.
Also, IFC lists this episode as being 103, when it's actually a season 3 episode. Maybe they were originally going to show Mad Monster, but just couldn't for whatever reason. Or maybe they are and The Unearthly was a mistake. We'll have to wait and see.

I stumbled upon the show airing on Comet this weekend, so I have to wonder: is IFC covering up Crow with their logo like Comet does?

IFC displays their logo on the left side of the screen. So, Joel and the bots are NOT covered.

archive.org/details/mst3k101thecrawlingeyeifc Alright, here it is! This is the first ever airing of MST3K on IFC. Excuse the weird cut in the beginning. I was trying to figure out how to change the screen resolution to allow me to record DirecTV footage on my VCR. So, that's why you see a DirecTV popup near the beginning. There's also a cut at about 0:39. That was just because I paused the recording while I was troubleshooting, and then continued the recording when I got to the list of recorded shows. Hopefully, the next episodes I upload will be much cleaner. I can't record anything in HD, but I don't think that the quality matters too much with MST3K. Only the commercials really suffer, but they're still watchable. Also, enjoy the small clip of the series finale of Two and a Half Men, with that weird piano falling scene.

archive.org/details/mst3k102aztecmummyifc archive.org/details/mst3k204catalinacaperifc Two new episodes have been added to the archive! The Robot Vs. The Aztec Mummy and Catalina Caper join in on the IFC fun. Thankfully, I actually knew what I was doing this time around. So, these were pretty easy to record without showing me mess around a lot. As for the episodes themselves, my opinions on them are mixed. Aztec Mummy definitely has its funny moments. However, it's not nearly as funny as other season 1 episodes in my opinion and the movie doesn't help. I will admit though that the robot mummy fight is hilarious. As for Catalina Caper, it seems to be a decently funny episode. I actually didn't watch it all the way through and when I was watching, my sister and I were talking over the movie. But I did catch a couple good riffs and the host segments are enjoyable, with Joel remembering the 60's being my favorite. I'll properly talk about Catalina Caper once I get to the eventual season 2 review. The next episodes I'm gonna record are Bride of the Monster and Santa Claus. Bride of the Monster is from late season 4. So, it should hopefully be good. And Santa Claus is one of my top ten episodes of the entire series. So, I'm definitely looking forward to watching these! Also, here's the current IFC schedule. The link to the actual spreadsheet is in my signature, as usual. Alright, I gotta get some sleep lol.

Another update has been made to the IFC schedule!
March 14th, 2020 Lost Continent - 3:05 AM The Crawling Eye - 5:20 AM
Yeah, unfortunately we're only getting one new episode that night. I don't know why they're tripling up on Crawling Eye. Maybe it's a placeholder episode until they gets the rights for more? I don't know. Also, I'm going to record two more episodes later and upload them to archive.org. So, stay tuned for those!

archive.org/details/mst3k423brideofthemonsterifcHere's the latest IFC broadcast, Bride of the Monster! I didn't watch this one all the way through, but it seems like a pretty funny episode. I'll have to give it a watch someday. Also, it's getting kinda late where I live. So, I'll probably record Santa Claus tomorrow. Enjoy the Ed Wood cheese until then.

Okay, I promise that I'll actually record Santa Claus tomorrow. I've been putting it off for too long. I just wanted to keep you guys up to date on the IFC schedule. So, here it is! So, they're going to be replaying their first five episodes. However, we also get two new episodes! Robot Monster, one of the better season 1 episodes. And Wild Rebels, which I've generally heard good things about. For whatever reason, they're not replaying Beast of Yucca Flats that night. But hey, I'd rather have two new ones than have one of the slots be a repeat. I'm still hoping that one of these weeks we get Moon Zero Two. Maybe the week after? We'll see. Anyway, stay tuned for the IFC broadcast of Santa Claus! I'm actually looking forward to recording this one, since it's one of my favorite episodes.

Updated the schedule again and oh my god, they're finally showing another Mike episode! The Dead Talk Back is airing at 7:15 AM central on April 18th. However, paired with it at 5:00 AM is Castle of Fu Manchu, a very infamous episode. But hey, we're at least getting a bit more variety. We still haven't seen any Sci-Fi episodes yet, but any Mike episodes are appreciated. How much do you wanna bet that the next week, they're gonna show Hamlet?

Thanks for uploading! It's super cool to see it with the bumpers before the commercials again. It feels so right.

The show is still being run on ZLiving, but I'm not sure of the exact schedule. It was on this past Saturday night at 9, as it was previously. The website lists "Women of the Prehistoric Planet" for this Saturday. I'll have to switch between it and "Ghost and Mr. Chicken" on Svengoolie. It looks like ZLiving has broken out of its rut. After three weeks of showing "Women of the Prehistoric Planet", they had "Hercules Unchained" last Saturday, even though Cablevision's guide listed "Hercules Against the Moon Men". We'll see what's on next week.
