Name some favorite characters from TV shows that you have. Here's some for me: Crow T. Robot (Trace's version). One of the best characters ever on a show. Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul). It's all good, man. Bob Odenkirk is perfect for this role. My fave character who isn't a puppet. (I mean robot). Rev. Jim from Taxi (Christoper Lloyd). Well played. Stole every scene he was in. Pilot from Farscape. Well crafted and manipulated puppet. (I mean alien). Easy to forget he wasn't a real "person." Wembley Fraggle. He's just cute. BoJack Horseman. He's not supposed to be completely likable, but Will Arnett does a great job with the voice acting and "humanizing" him (Humanimalizing him?). Animators did a great job, too. One can sympathize with him, if not agree with all his decision making skills. (Eesh). Rick Grimes (The Walking Dead). Andrew Lincoln was great bringing this "graphic novel" character to life. I'll think of more. Edit: Oh, wait - how can I forget? Wait for iiIIIItt...Shawn Spencer (James Roday) of Psych. (Edit: And, of course Dule Hill as Burton "Gus" Guster. Can't have one without the other now, can you?)

You have two of mine, Rev Jim and Crow. Others I've liked:
Mike - Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
Andy - Parks and Recreation - always like how positive his character seemed to be, besides being hilarious to me.
Alexis & David - Schitt's Creek - we just recently finished this series and will probably watch it again. While I liked pretty much all of the characters, these two were my favorite. Ew, David.
Yosemite Sam
Florence - The Jefferson's - one of my earliest memory characters that made me laugh.
Bob Newhart - Newhart (80's) - I grew up on the 80's version and loved it. Great series end as well.
Penny - Big Bang Theory - this was a toss up between her and Zack. Both were really good in their character.
There are some shows that it's hard to pick a favorite character: Rosanne, Arrested Development, IT Crowd, King of Queens, The Office, etc.
With so much binge watching in the last ~5 years, it's hard to remember some of the characters I grew up with and really enjoyed.

I turn 59 within a week. So I have a few
1.) Jim Rockford, Angel Martin and Rocky, Jim Rockford's dad (When he's not talking about Texas)
2.) Festus Haggen, and Marshall Matt Dillon
3.) George Costanza
4.) Spock
5.) Basil Fawlty
6.) Pretty much the entire cast of WKRP in Cincinnati. All of them fit perfectly and worked well together.
7.) Johnathan Quayle Higgins & Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV

Chuck and Bob (Jay Johnson and Squeaky) from Soap. Jay was the best ventriloquist I've ever seen. And Bob was just funny. Loved Bert Campbell (Richard Mulligan) as well.
Simon and Hecubus (Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley) from Kids in the Hall. Also loved Francesca Fiore and Bruno Pons Jones (however they spell it). Dave again (Bruno) and Scott Thompson. Liked Bruce McCulloch's character of Bobby, too - and Gavin. Liked the secretaries Kathie (McCulloch) and Cathy (Thompson). And Thompson's Buddy Cole.
Love The Monarch (Jackson Publick aka Chris McCulloch) and Orpheus (Steven Rattazi) from the animated The Venture Bros. Also Brock Sampson (Patrick Warburton).
Walter and Perry from Home Movies - also animated (H. Jon Benjamin and Brendan Small).
Alex P. Keaton (Michael J. Fox) from Family Ties. Good comedic timing he had.
Arya Stark (Maise Williams) from Game of Thrones. Until they ruined her character.

Steve "The Hair" Harrington. (Joe Keery). Great story arc. From jerk to best character on Stranger Things. World's best baby-sitter.
Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke), also from Stranger Things. Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter. Great chemistry with Steve. Such a much more interesting duo than boring Jonathan and Nancy. She kind of gives off Eliza Dushku vibes.

Whoverse:
John Barrowman as Capt. Jack Harkness from Dr. Who and Torchwood. Can anyone else flirt so well just saying hello?
David Tennant's version of The Doctor is also enjoyable. I liked Peter Capaldi's version as well. I think he was a pretty perfect Doctor, but the writing pretty much robbed him. Catherine Tate as Donna was pretty funny. Her chemistry with Tennant was great.

Liked the entire cast of Third Rock From the Sun. John Lithgow (Dick), Kristen Johnston (Sally), French Stewart (Harry), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Tommy), Jane Curtain (Mary), Simbi Khali (Nina) and Wayne Knight (Don). They had great chemistry and played off each other good. JGL did great playing an older adult stuck in a teenage body, he had good comedic timing - like Michael J. Fox before him. And of course JL KJ and FS are all goofy as all get-out and did a great job. Jane Curtain played a great straight man and could also be goofy. One of the best overall ensembles in the vein of Seinfeld and Psych and Soap.
Loved Juliet Landau as the vampire Drusilla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. I think she was the best screen vampire I've ever seen. She could be creepy and weird and also fun. I did like James Marsters as Spike but they really watered down his character and though he still did a good job with it, Spike was forever ruined for me.
Loved Bruce Campbell as Autolycus in Xena and Hercules. He was delightfully campy and smarmy, yet suave.

Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Five Hargreeves, in The Umbrella Academy. The only character "mom" (Grace), their robot mom didn't give a name to other than his number. I think Five suits him perfectly.
AG does a great job as a young actor playing an old man in a teenager's body.
Just love Five. In my head cannon, I like to think all those he's killed were bad guys and gals who needed to be killed, even though that's not the reason he kills them. I love his interactions with the rest of his F'd up family. The writers came up with good lines for him. He's such a fun little sh*t.

Oogie from The Uncle Floyd Show. A cute little clown puppet, voiced by Uncle Floyd himself - Floyd Vivino. (David Bowie wrote a song about them).

Capt. James (MacGraw) Flint (Toby Stephens) and "Long" John Silver (Luke Arnold) from Black Sails. These two played off each other so well and had some great dialogue. Also loved Capt. Charles Vane (Zach McGowan), Capt. Jack Rackham (Toby Schmitz) and Anne Bonny (Clara Paget).
Flint, Silver and Vane all had such great voices.
Tobey Stephens is Maggie Smith's son.

In honor of Howard Hesseman, who died yesterday, I'd like to add Dr. Johnny Fever from WKRP in Cincinnati.

I mentioned Arya from Game of Thrones, I forgot to add Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. He had some great lines and acting chops - loved his trial scene and how he played off of Bronn (Jerome Flynn).
I was re-watching GoT because I've been watching House of the Dragon. (NOBODY stands out on that show - the characters and dialogue are boring).

In honor of Little House on the Prairie turning 50 (whAAaaa...?) I'll add Melissa Gilbert as Laura Ingalls Wilder and Alison Arngrim as Nellie Olson to this list. "You're such a good friend, Nellieeee!!" - <pushes her down a hill in a wheelchair>
