I don't think anything like this exists yet, as far as I know.
Adding to my never ending list of projects to work on, I'm now doing MST3K restorations! The two that I'm working on are The Crawling Eye and Rocketship X-M. Here's what I'm doing for each episode.
101 The Crawling Eye
Shout Factory's version of The Crawling Eye is missing an entire audio track from the original airing. This means that the SOL ambiance, Dr. Forrester's camera controller, the evil piano music, and some door sound effects among others are completely absent. I taken the audio from a rare VHS recording of the episode and mixed it with the audio in the Shout Factory release to create a definitive audio track. It's not perfect, as the original VHS is obviously very fuzzy and has some buzzes here and there. I did remove one very loud buzz during the first mid movie host segment. However, there's some other audio issues that could be fixed. Even with the minor issues, I think you guys will like the new audio track. No riffs seem to be cut from the Shout version, but I'm still looking.
201 Rocketship X-M
This one is kind of a mess, as clips of multiple episodes are used to create this restoration (bumpers and some of the door sequences were taken from The Sidehackers and Space Travelers). With the recently found BBI vault tape of Rocketship X-M that Diet Kolos has thankfully uploaded online, we now have a much better quality copy of the full episode than any of the homemade VHS recordings. The host segments are of course taken from the Satellite Dishes bonus disc from volume 39. However, to make up for the fade ins and fade outs, color corrected clips from the vault tape are used to replace these transitions. The one clip of the episode from the MST3K YouTube channel is also added back into the episode. I think I got the color correcting mostly spot on. However, there are some parts where it's a bit janky. In particular, when the first movie segment starts up, you can see the film go from blue to a muted purple. This grey-ish purple matches the clip from MST3K's YouTube. I would color correct the whole episode like this. However, the host segments look very faded when I do. I'll experiment with making the colors more even throughout the episode. However, there will most likely have to be some weird color shifts here and there. Hopefully, you guys won't mind much.

I'm hoping to at least finish The Crawling Eye in the next few days. Rocketship X-M will take some more effort, but I think I can finish that one pretty quickly too. After these, I'll be doing Attack of the Eye Creatures. Also, I know this isn't really art, but I figured this was the best place for this thread since it's a personal project. Enjoy, friends!
