Frank tweeted and posted this on FB:
Not sure if The Mads are Back touring will come back either. It stopped, of course, for Frank to recover from heart surgery, but I've seen no mention of plans to hit the road again.
I hope they're all okay!

They have done some touring already, and were set for a bunch this spring. Then Covid-19 had to Covid-19 things up a bunch.

If the MADs tour is also done, that’s too bad. I’m at least grateful I got the chance to attend and meet them at their Boston show in 2018.

I really wanted to like their podcast, but it was really a rough listen for me. The audio quality was not great, the format was non-existant. Unless you saw and remembered the film as though you just saw it, it was really hard to follow their discussion. My main criticism was that nobody served as the host, and simply laid out the movie, with the year, writer and director, cast, general plot and the reason it was picked. Most movie podcasts I follow will do that, so even if you didn't see the movie, you could follow along pretty well. But with Movie Sign, sometimes they would kick off with discussing the ending of a movie, with no reference point. Also, it really was tiring to hear Trace bellyache about the use of CG in certain films.
I'm sad to see the show go, despite my hangups with it, as I know they loved doing it. Hopefully in a year or two they regroup and start up again.

Audio quality was only an issue in early shows. I liked the informal structure (and lack thereof), jumping right into discussion. I've never understood why reviews in any form take up a good portion of the time/page with plot synopsis. That's filler!
