If you don't know what MSTing is, it's doing a commentary on a bad fanfic in the style of MST3K. There were tons of them in the early days of the internet. The great thing about them is you can use Joel or Mike and the Bots, or your own characters.
What are your favorite fanfic MSTs?

I was young and found a MSTing of one of the Batman movies (I forget if it was Batman Forever or Batman & Robin) and didn't understand that it was a fanfic and thought the show was actually going to do a blockbuster movie on the show. I started reading it and when they riffed on the stage directions I realized what was happening and stopped reading it. Sorry to the author.

Riffing the script of Batman & Robin was really popular back in the early 2000s. It was almost impossible to find a website that did fan scripts that didn't link to at least 50 of them.
The only vivid memory I have of reading one is Mr. Freeze saying "Grab the gem! Kill the heroes!" and following up with the riff of "And don't get it backwards like you did last time!"

MSTings were actually my introduction to the series, think my first was of a transcript of a fave 'so bad it's brilliant' episode of Space:1999. Had no idea who Mike and the rest were, but loved the concept of making fun of material in this way.
Once I had a chance to see the show and get into it, the MSTings of Stephen Ratliff's endless 'output' plus the MSTing of Tom Swift and his War Tank became firm faves.

Okay, so when I was in Highschool and College (and to a lesser extent still today) I was really into Interactive Fiction (games where most of the gameplay is written and typed out instead of graphically presented and clicked upon). One of my favorite early MSTings was actually a reprogrammed Interactive Fiction game. The game itself was about a detective, and was just... written crazily. And programmed bizarrely. So Mike and the bots kept riffing on it the whole time I played through and it was awesome.
