They finally released a studio version of this. I prefer the live version without Paris Jackson.

I hope they go back to their old fashioned rock sound and do some more lively songs and don't do too many of this type of thing ^^^^^^.
Her voice sounds like it's too polished up in the studio and she doesn't actually have a good "live" voice. I've never heard her live, so I don't know.
I want the good stuff, not this boring crap.

I hope they return to their old style as well. Fun, catchy, and I really never got sick of listening to them after endless listens.
I'm a big fan of cover songs and their version of Lorde's 'Royals' is one of my favorites. I would like more upbeat/rock covers like that, but I'd be afraid they'd turn out more like their cover of Kiss' 'Do You Love Me'.

^^^^ Heh, I actually like their cover of Do You Love Me better. I HATE the song Royals, even the Strut's cover. (Just 'cause no matter if I like a band or not, they're not going to make a song I hate likeable).

Someone on YouTube with the channel name of "HerefortheStruts" uploaded about an hour and a half of a livestream of a live performance of The Struts if anyone cares to check that out.

I originally put this up on "now playing." I just put this here again because Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for Foo Fighters, who is playing drums on this, has died today. He was only 50 and it hasn't been said yet how he died. Foo Fighters were still on tour in South America when it happened.

The Struts have a new song out, Fallin' With Me. I didn't bother putting a YouTube video up, but it's there if anyone cares to give it a listen.
The music in the chorus isn't so bad, but the lyrics are crappy and the song overall is quite bland.
Meh.
I hope they haven't run out of ideas already and that they come up with something better at some point.

Here's Joshua and the Holy Rollers. I like a few of their songs. Sorta CCR, Blues Traveler, Nightsweats kind of vibes.

There are some more videos of other songs they did on this acoustic set.

They have another newish song, "Too Good at Raising Hell." Not a big fan of it. Darn, I think they have peaked. Their stuff now is just kind of bland. They're playing things that a garage band would come up with (you know, the kind of songs that would keep a garage band a garage band).
Not to say there's no such thing as a good garage band, just that The Struts stuff now is just so generic and boring.

They have a whole bunch of lyric videos up on YouTube of new songs from their new CD Pretty Vicious. I couldn't get into ANY of them, unfortunately. I couldn't even listen to any of them all the way through. They all sound like they are AI made or something. Very disappointing. I'll stick with their older stuff, which, I'm kind of getting sick of, actually. Too bad. I guess I have to go find a new new favorite band. Darn. This didn't last very long.
