No worries, just busting your chops a bit. Monster A Go-Go is intact. Super Dragon is as described upthread, which is obviously not as aired but is presumably as intended. As far as that goes, I don't have any idea what happened, but I would guess that there was some kind of problem when they created the master copy for Comedy Central, that the tape was started just late enough to cut off most of the slate. I don't know that, but it would explain why all the off-air recordings are one way when the original master tape is intact. (It's also possible that they simply created a lookalike after-the-fact.)
I have a feeling that when they forgot to fix vol 7, they got negative feedback, so they remembered to fix the one episode in vol 8. But then vol 9 didn't have any missing slates, so by the time vol 10 came around, they either forgot or there were fewer people working on the project (this would've been around when Shout ran out of available episodes to license). After that, they didn't fix the slates in any further episodes *except* "Super Dragon", and since that was always an oddity, I suspect that back when they "still cared", somebody who was working there looked ahead and made sure that one got fixed rather than risking it get forgotten later.
Thank you! This is so helpful and appreciated! I may pay for these assuming the quality of the transfer isn’t noticeably deteriorated from my precious Rhinos (cough Prince of Space) For 504, is it a full slate with Tim Scott saying the show name, number and reel one? I know it’s been somewhat said above but it’s not clear.

I know it’s been somewhat said above but it’s not clear. To be honest, I don't remember comparing them side-by-side to see which looked better. In general, with episodes of that era, Rhinos look better. In some cases, it's not a significant difference, and sometimes they're virtually identical, which is what they should be.
I can't vouch for the speaker's identity, but as far as the line goes, yeah, it follows the format.
If you are going to buy, they usually have two sales a year for 50% off. One is always right after Thanksgiving. You might be able to find a better deal on individual volumes, but if you're getting several, it's a pretty easy one-stop shop for them.

If Secret Agent Super Dragon's slate is in tact, does that mean Rebel Set's slate is in tact? If it's just the Twitch stream that shows them, that's both unfortunate and annoying, but I'm glad that people are seeing them somewhere. If it is the actual volume re-release and there isn't a slate, that's rather lazy of Shout!

Pretty sure "Rebel Set" is not fixed, but I'll double check it later.

Pretty sure "Rebel Set" is not fixed, but I'll double check it later. Can confirm that "Rebel Set" is not fixed and simply starts with the show intro. This is insane, really. Why does "Turn Down Your Lights" get restored on every damn reissue but the slate card doesn't? At this point, there is no reason to cut anything out of a master tape of an episode! We're living in a completist age! It just baffles me that whoever is doing this at the indie cult media company is like "Okay we've corrected Rhino's mistake and restored the bumpers/stingers/Turn Down Your Lights intro that the new show uses, but this weird slate card part can totally get cut." WTF?

The fact that one is in tact and the other isn't while they are on the same set is just pure laziness on Shout's part. I understand that during around this period they were focused on the Netflix series, but even then, some of these errors could have been fixed with a simple reminder.
